Lafew is a community-based initiative bringing plant-based nutrient dense food as medicine to Cairns. This venue is a vintage style tea house and kombucha bar located in the heart of the city. New menu July 2016 includes komucha, salads, soups, teas, nutmylks and blended drinks, acai blends, raw desserts, organic coffee and chai latte. Has gluten-free. Holds workshops. Open Tue-Sat 10:00am-5:00pm, Sun 10:00am-4:00pm. Closed Mon.

love the Club and Kombucha! - Edit
This place is great. The partner and I always come here before we do the market. Almost every week. I've had the zoodles, which is tasty but I prefer the club which is different but addicting. I always add chili peppers to mine to give it a kick. Love the service. Great for indoor or outdoor eating. Right near Rustys a great spot. Must try the coconut cake!!! I could eat that everyday. Closed on Monday's so my go to spot on the weekend.

Little Gem - Edit
Found this little gem in Cairns, omg the food is the bomb, it was that good we've eaten here 4 days straight, today I had the Cabala juice, vegan Club Sandwich, finished with a raw choc peppermint slice and a long black, wifey had a Kombucha, garden salad with home made hommus & cashew cheese, finished with cacao strawberry mouse tart and a cardamom coffee. Didn't want to leave, the place has a therapeutic atmosphere. The owners are lovely people, service was excellent every time we dined, I recomend it to every vegan, vegetarian or healthy diner.

We found the food expensive and not filling at all. It wasn't bad-tasting, we just weren't satisfied for the price we paid.

Beautiful place with vegan and raw vegan options - Edit
Best fruit salad we've ever had! Beautiful seasonal fruit made with love, they hand select their own perfectly ripe fresh organic fruit and the flavours are just amazing, so different from the typical ordinary fruit salads you get anywhere else. We also absolutely loved the Lafew Salad and Red Dragonfruit Kombucha! This will now be our regular place to eat whenever we're in Cairns.

Best Kombucha And Cafe In Cairns - Edit
I have checked out almost all of the listings here in Cairns and this place is definitely the best vegan friendly cafe I have experienced here! The kombucha is divine. I had the dragonfruit kombucha and I highly recommend it!
The atmosphere is super cute and relaxed. Very positive space. High frequency water available. Prices are great for the quality of food you get!
If you are health conscious or even just looking for a positive space for your morning coffee you should definitely check it out!
Pros: Positive Chill Environment , Delicious Food and Beverages, Kombucha On Tap!!!
