Authentic Mexican Food - Edit
Awesome vegan menu! All the authentic Mexican flavor with none of the harm. I ordered the vegan tacos Al Pastor and my fiancé had the vegan "beef" huaraches. Both were very tasty especially with their green hot sauce. They also have a red hot sauce that's even spicier.
Read moreThe "beef" on the huaraches looked so much like the real thing that I had to verify with the staff. They were so understanding and confirmed that everything in my order was vegan. They even showed me the packaging to ease my worries. They use Nature's Soy vegan meat replacement products. The "beef" is seitan based.
I also tried the vegan horchata, but I didn’t like it much. The flavor was a little off and not how I remembered the non-vegan version tasting. I think it was because normally horchata has condensed milk, but the vegan version doesn’t. My fiancé had the mango smoothie with rice milk and it was delicious!
Pros: Delicious food, Lots of vegan options, Good for takeout/takeaway orders
Cons: Street parking only, No ambiance, No delivery

This place makes me believe delicious vegan Mexican food exists in New Jersey. It's here people!! Come try it, you will NOT be disappointed. The flavors are just the right amount in the vegan alternatives. I was not expecting those flavors and yet, here I am writing a review about how delicious it was.

WHAT A FIND!!! When this place showed up on Doordash, I ordered delivery immediately. We ordered 4 different dishes with different "meats" (al pastor, chicken, sausage), plus chips & guac. There wasn't a single thing that wasn't fantastic. The blue corn tortillas especially are outstanding. They even had vegan horchata!! My husband said, and I quote, "When I'm dying, and the highlights of my life are flashing before my eyes, I'm going to remember my time with you, headbutts from [our cat], [a particularly special sports match he attended live]... and that meal." That's how good this food was.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this restaurant. They have a vegan menu with pictures and if you don't understand something, they will explain it to you.

I had the Huaraches with Al pastor meat and avocado. It came with 2 large portions. I ate one and took the other one home. It was very good! I will come back to try the other stuff they have.
I will definitely visit again.

Corner store with a great Vegan menu. They do serve meat and dairy, however, they do have a seperate full menu of vegan options. Their tacos are amazing!

I read the prior reviews and was disappointed when I actually went. As they said, it is literally a corner store that serves food. Also, this place is not 100% vegan. A sign says they have a 100% vegan menu, but I think they mean they can make anything on the menu vegan. I'm certain they serve beef, chicken, and cheese.
Read moreI thought the food was fine. I ordered a taco and quesadillas. The tortillas were good but overall both were bland. The hot sauce was okay but nothing to write home about.
There are many better Mexican vegan restaurants and 4 stars seems high to me. I would go back if I was in the neighborhood and looking for a quick bite but I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Exceptional Food - Edit
This corner store in Passaic, NJ has a kitchen and a full vegan menu with delicious traditional Mexican food. We were so surprised to find this place and enjoy it as much as we did. We cannot wait to go back and really hope people visit them to support their vegan menu. The staff are wonderful and we got recommendations from them as we ordered. Please go! You won’t be disappointed.
