Good food, ask to make sure the dish is vegan and not vegetarian - Edit
Nice setting on a charming street, the menu contains one vegetarian option for appetizer, dish and desert so you need to ask what it contains (as they seem to mix vegan and vegetarian and don’t list all the ingredients to spot milk/cheese/other dairy).

Very tasty food. We had a vegan day menu with gazpacho, a burger / tartaar and nice desert with fruits and ice cream. It was al very nice. The coffee too! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about vegan food.

Un restaurant traditionnel dans la Grande Rue de Nancy, qui propose chaque jour un menu vegan avec plusieurs choix pour l’entrée, le plat et le dessert. Le menu vegan n’est pas mis en valeur, il y a une ardoise un peu cachée dans le restaurant affichant les propositions du jour.

La petite cuillère is well located downtown, and proposes a fully vegan and seasonal menu. Very correct price range for full menu set. Good quantity, presentation and taste. Home-made. We’ll come back for another family lunch!

Great atmosphere, several vegan options and high quality. As a sweet tooth I was especially satisfied with the dessert, wanting to go back to try the other options. Affordable (in my opinion) as well. The recipes were also well thought out. They weren't quickly adapted from non-vegan dishes, but properly put together. Definitely recommend.

It was really nice to have a whole vegan menu on a board from which to choose, with 2 or 3 options for starter, main course and dessert. (21 euros for starter + main or main + dessert, 25 euros for a 3 course dinner).

Our main courses were ok, but not so much to our taste.
But the dessert! I had the chocolate-raspberry cake and my partner the coconut - exotic fruit pudding, and both were amazing!
The staff was super friendly, and offered a doggy bag without even having to ask when they saw I couldn't finish my plate (it was quite big!).
Pros: amazing dessert, whole vegan menu, friendly staff

Ce restaurant propose un vrai menu vegan avec plusieurs choix d'entrée, de plat et de dessert. Les portions sont très copieuses mais il est possible de demander un doggy bag. J'aurai parfois aimé que les plats soient un peu plus assaisonnés mais j'ai toujours apprécié aller là bas. C'est ce restaurant qui m'a fait aimé le seitan! Le service peut parfois être long.

You can eat a whole vegan menu there ! Each course has 2 or 3 vegan choices ! I had a butternut velouté with soy cream, a burger with fries, and a muffin with chocolate chips and its vanilla soy ice cream. A WHOLE MENU ALL VEGAN :D Everything is homemade and very good. Definitely a "must-try" in Nancy : a correct price for the very good quality you get !

Trying to live on a vegan diet in a country in which it seems sometimes difficult to even find a simple "vegetarian" SALAD (!) - let alone a vegan one - is somehow challenging. So finding a vegan dish on a menu makes you usually already be really, really grateful. But "La petite cuillère" does not only offer a simple vegan dish, but a whole vegan menu with various options from which you can choose. Additionally the chef had the task to cope with my gluten intolerance and had to make up his mind, what he could cook for me as an alternative to some of the dishes I couldn't eat. Cooking vegan can sometimes be quite tricky for non-vegan chefs. But making up a vegan and glutenfree dish usually ends up in a complete disaster. Though.... not this time and not in "La petite cuillère". The chef was cooking up a storm for me which was topped by an absolutely gorgeous vegan-meringue desert.

I definitely recommend this restaurant to any vegan and glutenfree vegan who is looking for a real french dinner experience without any compromises.
I would personally give more than 5* but the app won't allow me to give more than 4. So: thumbs up for a wonderful chef.

One of the only place in Nancy that states clearly their vegan menu (which is not in the regular menu, but you can find it on thei facebook page)!
