Best vegan food in Guadalajara - Edit
If you are visiting Guadalajara you HAVE to visit La Flaca. Delicious traditional Mexican dishes in their vegan version. You don’t have to miss out on Mexican cuisine because you are vegan!! You can try their different and tasty tacos or lonches, or their exquisite main dishes (pozole, setas en su jugo, tortilla soup, and many more!)

Huge portions and friendly staff. We had the chorizo taco (a must) and the torta ( also great). The birria has a unique flavor like I’ve never had - worth a try!!! Mole enchiladas were so rich and decadent.

The flavors here are amazing! This is authentic Mexican food totally vegan. We had the birria ( a uniquely spicey chile, the buffalo cauliflower, and the emoladas (absolutely amazing mole with soy "meat ", avo, pickled onion and a few other garnishes).

Sadly, they were out of Avocado when I came. So I couldn’t order Guacamole and tacos would be without Avo. So I ordered a Torta (big sandwich) and Cauliflower Wings instead. It was yummy, but HUUUUUGE! Way too big for one person! Everything here is 100% vegan, and there is a nice outdoor patio to sit on (beside the street; but you’re still outdoors which is nice). Friendly staff and they have a menu in English if you ask. I think I preferred the tacos & Guac I had last time, but everything seems good! Not expensive.

We were so impressed by the creativity of this menu and loved being able to try a variety of authentic Mexican cuisine vegan style. I especially loved the variety of tacos - from mushroom or beetroot to vegan chorizo and potatoes. It was all very good.

Authentic Vegan Mexican Cuisine to the next level. Everything was delicious. The Enmoladas were excellent & 100% better then the traditional ones that are made w/meat. My family (not vegan) loved them & said they would come back in the future. The tacos w/ chorizo & papa were also delicious. The desserts were amazing especially the tarta de cacao. Will definitely be back! I'm so happy the vegan community is growing!
Read moreUpdate 12/26/18 -Tried the alitas de coliflor 1/2 with BBQ & 1/2 with spicy sauce. These were amazing! Will definitely be back for more. We also had the enmoladas which never disappoint! Excellent food and service!

Unfortunately they didn't have gas when we went there, but the girl was super nice and set us up with guacamole and mushroom ceviche, SO good and the beers were delicious, the dog was lovely.

They really have authenticity in the food, I ordered the torta hogadas which is a popular dish in Guadalajara, I never got to taste it before since I have been vegetarian now vegan my whole life. But I loved it ! Then I got the vegan gansito , which they call venganisto.😆

They take for ever - Edit
They took 40minutes or more in order to serve two plates with 4 tacos each, it seems at they take the orders of the people that are already there and the newcomers are pushed in the queue every time there is new order for seated customer while the new ones need to wait and wait. Flavor is ok and pricing more than the average, same tacos are 25% cheaper in Chia which is somehow nearby.

I know I’m putting a bad review, but that’s because my fiancé didn’t like it at all, so she wanted 1x & I wanted 3x. I could even go to 4x based only on the cauliflower buffalo wings, but the tacos wore the worst I’ve had in Guadalajara so far & prices look to have increased over what it used to be, so I would give middle price point now.
