- I'm Vegan. In my 20's i lived "on the road" rock climbing full-time all over Canada, the USA, Mexico, Central America and Europe for 7 years (and spent almost a year of that practicing Yoga in Guatemala). Then i went back to school and became a Pilot. I've worked as a Flight Instructor and Charter Pilot and flying "Scenic Tours" all over Southern BC, both in Wheel planes and Float planes. In 2012 while i was away rock climbing in Thailand and trying one of the hardest climbs of my life (my long-term project / nemisis Greed 8c+), I decided to try a Whole-Foods, Plant-Based diet. That was one of the best decisions of my life. The longer i am Vegan, the more i know it was the right thing to do; for my health, the environment, and of course for Animals. I'm in my 30's now and feel stronger and healthier than ever before. In 2015 i moved from BC to Alberta to take a job flying a King Air 200 for a Medevac Air Ambulance company. Currently I'm based in Norther Alberta near the NWT boarder (small town called High Level; I just call it the North Pole!). I work 13 days on 8 days off and I ALWAYS travel on my days off! I'm hoping to find an "airline" job in 2016 and hopefully move back home to Squamish/Vancouver or else to Calgary (1 hour from the best sport climbing in Canada!). My passions in life are Rock climbing (more like an "obsession"), Aviation and Yoga (I love Ashtanga the most), and when i have the chance, i love Skydiving, and Surfing too. My other biggest passion is Nutrition and Veganism and i really enjoy creating awesome recipes, especially of the Raw variety! and meeting other like-minded, health conscious people and having intelligent conversations. There's so much to do in life and not enough time! So just pick a few things, get PSYCHED and try and do them to the best of your ability. Remember to have fun!
