Generally I try to eat as local as possible when travelling, however I’m so glad I made the exception for La Baracca! Separate vegan menu with around 10 options of starters, pastas and pizzas. We had the pesto pasta and vegetariana pizza - some of the best damn foods I’ve tasted. The homemade vegan cheese was perfect, seems like maybe it was cashew based? Also had a DELICIOUS cocktail special. 100% recommend you eat here if you’re in Uluwatu.

Vegan items clearly marked on the menu! Starts off with complimentary bread and oil and vinegar, and asked the server if all the bread selection was vegan. He switched out the ones containing cheese which was nice.
Read moreOrdered the vegan Margherita pizza, which is the typical tomato sauce, basil, and their homemade vegan mozza style cheese. The crust was thin and crispy! One pizza and I was satisfied. Prices are very reasonable too. Going to go back to try the vegan tortellini.
Gets super busy at peak dinner times and it's been recommended to make a reso. Went at 8pm and got seated right away.
Pros: Vegan options clearly marked. Vegan pizza!

We got a pizza, bruschetta and ravioli
The raviolis portion size for the cost is just ridiculous it’s extremely small which left me hungry and needing more but however it was tasty just definitely not worth the money
The pizza was ok but the vegan cheese tasted real strange and I know some vegan cheese can taste strange but it was stranger that strange in my opinion which meant I would of rather had a cheeseless pizza

Best vegan pizza I’ve tried - Edit
It’s so hard to find good vegan Italian food, so this place was heaven. I visited it almost every evening in Uluwatu to have their pizza or pasta (it’s not on the menu but if you ask staff what kind of pasta can be made vegan they will ask the chef and get back to you, I’ve tried vegetable, mushroom, and tomato-mozzarella ones and they were all amazing).

Vegan ravioli and pizza with homemade vegan cheese. Need I say more. Absolutely wonderful. I'll be dreaming of that pizza base and ravioli. Staff were fantastic and after ordering vegan dishes the server changed the bread basket (before we ate any) and came back with only vegan options. Absolutely delish.
