Thai Isan Food - Non Vegan / Vegetarian

Sorry but this restaurant is nothing for real vegan or vegetarian people.
the kitchen serves different meat and seafood...so you get that smell in your vegan dish too😩
For me a vegan dish should be more than just omitting the meat.
At least separate pans should be used.
You can taste the glutamat in the food too.

The most welcoming restaurant in Koh Lanta

We heard a lot about this restaurant from other vegans and we decided to give it a go. The food was so delicious and the nice lady who is the owner is so warm welcoming . We enjoyed every second from our dinner.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Very friendly staff, Delicious food

Delicious vegan curries

This is such an amazing place! Kwan is so funny and attentive and her cooking is wonderful! Many veggie options, they don’t use fish sauce, and the portions are huge! We got an extra appetizer and a watermelon as a dessert free of charge. Fruit curry is literally the best curry I’ve had on the island. Since curries don't have fish sauce (nor dairy or egg) according to Kwan, they are all vegan if you opt for tofu/veggies as your protein. * Specify no chicken stock also!
She said how many people who are vegetarian/vegan come to her. She also offers cooking classes, but I'm yet to try that.
I cannot wait to go back tomorrow.😄

Update: The cooking class is awesome! We made the pineapple stir-fry and curries completely vegan! Totally worth it!

You can’t go wrong!

The food here is super delicious and the service is exceptional. The owner cheerful and you’ll definitely leave this place with a full stomach and a big smile 😃 ooh and they have Khao Soi, a very good one !

Lovely place

The food is excellent! The owner is a very funny and cheerful lady and the rest of the staff working here is friendly and makes you feel welcome. All the curries can be made vegan. They understand what vegan means and takes it very seriously. The biggest plus is that they have Khao soi and it is delicious!
