No vegan menu now and disappointing for what I paid - Edit
I came here all excited and starving as they were to have a separate vegan menu. Alas I was told no longer do they have a vegan menu. So disappointing.Took a long time to arrive at the restaurant as address is confusing . I went over menu with server, but also showed my vegan card in Russian to ensure they understood. Server took it to the chef and came back with the following options:
Read more*guacamole and tomatoes on bread
*eggplant on bread
*buckwheat with mushrooms
*baked eggplant with tomato
chutney
and I guess the salads
Thought would try baba ganoush on bread but was told egg in it. Told them typically baba ganoush does not contain egg.
I ordered basically fried eggplant on toasted bread, baked eggplant with side of rice. Could have at least filled up rice bowl. All of this basically vegetables, rice and bread for $20 USD. Thought would try but honestly if had known would have gone to Koktem again hands down. I ate more there - falafel wrap with fries, veggie soup, roti and a dessert of chocolate cake for $14 USD. Not worth the trip here. Take a miss here and go elsewhere. Wish I had.
Note 12% service charge as well.
Cons: no vegan menu now, expensive, except for eggplant small portions

Vegan menu review - Edit
The corn soup with smoked oyster mushroom is creamy and has that umami taste. Amazing! Pelmeni were a little dry, would have been better served with some vegan cream sauce. Ptitim might seem a little bland but i liked the texture. It’s a shame the vegan menu didn’t offer any dessert options.
