Kung Tak Lam - Shatin

The restaurant is clean and the service is great. They speak English.
I picked the fried mushrooms with sweet and sour sauce because I was craving for sweet and sour sauce but please don't order it. It's like dried crackers they dipped in the sauce.
I picked the wrong thing and spent 120 HKD for tea, a bowl of white rice and appetizer.
Will not go back.

They don't verify everything they sell is vegetarian. I've nothing to add to this Worst Restaurant Award:-

This shop was quite a disappointment. Was excited to find a vegetarian resteraunt so easily accessible in Sha Tin but it let me down. The food was very overpriced and lacked flavour and quality. I would not recommend.

We spent an age trying to find this place, when in reality it's just a few steps from Sha Tin station: in the atrium of New Town Plaza mall, simply take the lift/elevator up to THE [email protected] 7.

Although the restaurant is officially open until 11pm, they took last order at 10pm and closed as soon as we had finished.

This was the first time I've eaten at this location. Been to the ones in Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay many many times. Food quality has always been consistent, never had a bad meal. That said, this Shatin location is very small compared to the other two, and there's not much of a view either. Good location though, right on the restaurant floor inside New Town Plaza mall.
