Refreshing Lime Smoothie and Bento

We had the basic bento and each flavour was so unique and wonderful, you can taste the real Japanese flavours. We also had the lime smoothie which was a pleasant surprise. I have never had a drink that’s so unique and delicious. The lady of the store was absolutely wonderful and a kind being. She offered us matcha as we sat down to have our bentos on one of the benches in front of the store.

Overall a very positive experience.

Pros: Unique flavours , Friendly service , Budget friendly

International bento!

We weren’t sure what to expect with the bento box but it was really varied in flavours. A lot of Japanese elements but some Italian (like a chicken parmigiana vibe), Australian style (meatloaf patty!) and then a lovely crumbed fish like element with tartare sauce. I messaged the owner via her Instagram page the day before and she held 2 boxes for us. The market where the pickup is is quite triggering with a lot of animal products (carcasses and cut meat and live lobsters) but if you make a beeline through the doors in the image of the review below, she is on the left as you walk in.

Delicious and healthy bento in Nago

This is a little hidden gem in Nago market. Bento are served from 10am until 3pm but once they are sold out there will be no more made. I advise you send a DM on instagram by 10am to reserve your bento beforehand.

It’s located on the ground floor inside the market. End of the corridor next to a fish stall. Parking is close and starts at 200yen

Pros: Delicious, Healthy , Variety

Cons: Sells out fast, Hard to find
