Krümelküche is vegan cafe operating since Aug 2014 in the Hausprojekt Hochfeld, a place for people to create something they like, to live together, and to join different projects. Serves vegan burgers, sandwiches, cakes. Everything is house-made, and most ingredients are organic. There's also a little shop selling vegan products in the entrance room as well as a space for local artists to sell their products. Hosts concerts some weekends. Companion animal friendly. Reported closed December 2024.

Ich bin seit einigen Jahren Gast in diesem absolut hinreißenden Café! Ich liebe das Ambiente und die Gemütlichkeit. Das Essen ist fantastisch! Es gibt eine Wochenkarte und gleichbleibende Gerichte, von herzhaft bis süß! Außerdem eine tolle Auswahl an kalten und warmen Getränken. Das Personal ist freundlich und entspannt. Auch die Preise sind angemessen. Es werden regelmäßig Frühstücksbuffets und andere Events angeboten. Für mich ein must-go!

Its a really cozy cafe in duisburg. The interior is really nice and feels warm and the people are kind. The food is also pretty good. Portionsize could probably a bit bigger but besides that its a good place to go to. A lot of regional things you can get there and an always changing offer of cakes.

Was für ein tolles, durchdachtes und leckeres Konzept!!! Schon bei der Ankunft waren wir begeistert vom liebevoll zusammengestellten Interieur, dem Hauskater und der herzlichen Begrüßung. Und dann hat uns das Essen absolut umgehauen und überzeugt. Wow!!! Danke für diese tolle Location. Überzeugt euch am besten mal selbst davon und stattet der Krümelküche einen Besuch ab:)

The team at Krümelküche have poured their heart into making everyone feel welcome. That reflects in the awesome livingroom-style interior with magazines and a retro games console (!) but also their food menu has something for everyone from fast food to cakes to restaurant-worthy dishes and gluten free options for everything. I highly recommend going (and coming back every other week to try the new weekly menu).

Die Überschrift sagt es schon, diese frisch gemachten Pommes muss man einfach probieren! Ansonsten gibt es immer ein Wochenmenü sowie einige feste Gerichte. Bring Hunger mit, denn die Portionen sind reichhaltig. Leider hatte mein Magen keinen Platz mehr für den appetitlich ausschauenden Kuchen, aber wer möchte findet hier auch immer eine glutenfreie Variante. Man sieht die Liebe, die in das Café gesteckt wurde und die Besitzer schließt man auch direkt ins Herz. Ich komme wieder.😄

Kruemelkueche is such a lovely place! The living-room furniture makes you want to stay for ages, and their food is really good and cheap. I had a huge sandwich with sauerkraut and tempeh (a great match, I'll have to try that at home!) with a fresh salad with an amazing tahini dressing. The sweets looked great but the portion was so filling that I could not have a dessert as well...
