We went here to our trip to Gdansk and it was definitely worth the money.
Read moreWe all (a group of four people) tried different meat substitutes and liked all of them. I was in the mood for something spicy so I went for extra spice and spicy ketchup.
That burger killed me (in a good way).
The staff spoke fluent English which really helped a lot.
Also, I really appreciate how LGBT friendly the restaurant was.

The Polish vegan star - Edit
Good location, close to the railway station and a busy shopping street. The restaurant address is "Birch ST" and true to the name there are a lot of birch trees on the street. Very charming!

One negative remark though: the access to the restaurant is handicap unfriendly (see picture below). I witnessed a person with limited mobility struggle to enter.

[EN] Krowarzywa is a classic, fully vegan burger place. There is a lot of burgers in the menu, many sauces and burger toppings. You can also choose between bowls, wraps and kebabs. Burgers are delicious, especially "Vegan Pastrami" and classic kebab with cabbage. The price is fine.

This restaurant has saved me at many occasions when all other vegan options had already closed down. Their sweet potato fries are the best and I like their drinks selection: nice teas, juices, their own lemonade etc. One day I had their burger of the month with mushroom and kasza but the other day I tried one of their new salads, with tofu chicken. Loved it!

Decent burgers, lots of choice and an English menu and english speaking staff. Got tricked (by myself) into ordering sweet potato fries though, and as a sweet potato lover I'm sad to report, these were the worst sweet potato fries I've tried. Soggy and tasteless, not sure if they were swimming in oil for too long without love and care, or what. So go for burger but be careful with the fries!

We decided to try this place out while in Gdansk. We ordered seitan pastrami burger and tempeh bowl. The burger was super delicious looked great too. It did remind me of actual pastrami. However, the bowl was disaapointing, one piece of tempeh was uncooked (wasn’t this supposed to be like a pattie?), no millet, some salad leaves were bad. I wanted to have a good review after trying the burger but overall experience was overshadowed by the epic-fail bowl.
