Came here for dinner with my non-vegan boyfriend and we both really enjoyed. We had the mushroom octopus dish and the seitan steak. Both delicious! Good prices, good service.

It's a nice place with friendly service and delicious food. I tried seitan steak dish and the only thing I didn't like was that it had no salad or other vegetables. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Read moreWe had cauliflower wings and cheesy sausage croquettes to start. Then happy octopus with potatoes, spinach etc, and a seitan steak with mustard sauce, fries and a fried "egg".
Washed down with a jug of sangria wild berries then Oreo mousse and the parfait. YUM!!
Lots of choice, staff were lovely and very reasonably priced. Book in and you won't be disappointed 👍

We had dinner at Kong. We were so pleased to have vegan versions of Portuguese dishes. For entrees, we had the croquettes and bruschetta, for mains we had the „fish“ and seitan steak and for dessert, we had the snickers tart and a lovely mango dessert. The food was fantastic and the Staff were great!

We went there on a Wednesday evening without a reservation. Had to wait for a bit, but they made space for us. We really wanted to try Portuguese food, but vegan. Had the fish (OMG! Amazing!) and the seitan steak. Really delicious! The best was the slice of snickers cake at the end. Even the Sangria was made with love. The people working there were really on top of their game. Loved the experience.

The mushroom starters were my absolute favorite. I enjoyed being able to try veganized versions of traditional Portuguese food, such as croquettes and an octopus dish (an artfully sliced mushroom subs in as the octopus). Would absolutely recommend, and would return! Cute atmosphere and lovely service, too.

Great place to try Portuguese dishes that wouldn’t normally be vegan. Everything we tried was excellent but I particularly loved the octopus and the snickers tart. Definitely make a trip or two here if you’re in Lisbon. Might need a reservation.

Lovely vegan versions of Portuguese cuisine - Edit
This place was great and deserves the awesome rating it has. I’m only not giving it 5 stars because I didn’t fully love the dessert (I had the cheesecake), that although it was good in some of the bites I add a strong after taste of something like perfume (it threw me off a bit).
Read moreHaving said that the mains were great! We tried the burger which was really good and the Happy Octopus. This last dish deserves a medal because it was super good and it allow me to get to know the flavors of the Portuguese cuisine.

A unique chance for vegans to try local cuisine - Edit
I have been travelling to Portugal multiple times. As a vegan, I never had the chance to try local cuisine, which is fish and meat- heavy. Kong gave me the unique chance to try multiple local dishes. Portions are big, food is very tasty, prices are fair and service is very friendly. I recommend to book in advance, since the place is very popular. Recommended!
