Very good and tasty

We were well welcoming there, staff very friendly and paid attention to check with us for vegan food. I took the set meal with "no-meat" and they immediately asked if I'm vegan. They changed the soup to be vegan and also made a special vegan croquette for me (instead of the chawan muchi which contained chicken!!!). So be aware to precise that you are vegan to avoid it.

They have a vegan Menu 🤩

Love the vegan menu and the food, but had to wait more then 1 hour for a bowl of vegan ramen and 1 chanpuru. They literally served every person in the room bevor even starting our meals because „vegan takes longer to cook“. Have you ever heard that before? On top we had to pay a charge almost as high as the price of our meals for ordering just one dish pp.

Pros: Food was great

Cons: Aircon was freezing cold over our table

Tasty vegan options on the Onomichi waterfront

Located on the Onomichi Waterfront, it is a very pleasant place to spend some time, looking out at the boats that go back and forth from the big windows on the second floor.

The menu has six vegan options - vegan miso gratin, vegetable croquettes, stir-fried vegan “meat” slices with mushrooms and lemon ginger sauce, organic salad, and locally grown rice cooked with mushrooms and vegetables, served in ceramic pots.
Leave room for their amazingly creamy cheesecake made by one of their sister restaurants.
