Loved this place till I realized most items aren't vegan

It was such a disappointment when I came to know that the sambar (both thali and accompanied with dosa/idli/uttapam) has ghee, the rasam has ghee and even the masala in masala dosa has ghee :(

Pros: Food is flavorful

Cons: very limited vegan options

Excellent!

Very basic, clean restaurant serving excellent vegetarian South Indian food. Most of the food is vegan, but the menu does not indicate which ones. We got Idli (steamed rice cakes), masala dosa, onion rava masala dosa, vada. Those dishes come with sambhar and chutney (both vegan). The pongal has ghee (butter) so NOT vegan. I am not sure how helpful the staff are as we already knew what to get. They only serve coffee with milk.

Pros: excellent food, inexpensive, most foods are vegan

Cons: menu does not mark dishes as vegan
