Really delicious Sri Lankan food

Visited tonight for the first time, and was really impressed by the food. Had two of the vegan starters (tomato salad and the tatties), followed by the parippu curry which was a creamy, yellow lentil style curry, accompanied by the roti, and a hopper.

We also had the sambols which were really tasty (a condiment) and fresh.

Aside from there being a good variety of vegan options, the quality of the food itself was really great. Amazing flavours and was really struggling to pick a favourite, but the roti especially was probably the best I’ve had.

Only downside was no vegan dessert options, but there was only two on the menu. Both were veggie but would be ideal if one of those happened to be vegan.

Overall I really recommend!

Also meant to add - the pricing was really good, it was only £6 for the lentil curry without rice, whilst the monkfish option was £18 and same size. I really appreciated that they don’t inflate VG option pricing just to offset more expensive meat or fish options.

Pros: VG options were exciting and varied , Excellent flavours , Get the tatties starter and definitely a roti!
