One vegan main course, one soup, and one dessert - Edit
The daily menu apparently always contains one vegan main course, a zucchini lasagna with vegan cheese in our case, which was tasty, but could have been a bit more spicy. The regular menu lists one vegan soup and one vegan dessert, all clearly marked. Vegetarians find more options in the "pasta and vegetarian" section, though some of those pasta dishes contain flesh, so watch out of you don't read German.
Read moreThe mill itself is lovely and has a cool history of the entire village coming together to save it (all detailed on the first pages of the menu). The ambiance inside is rustic-traditional. There are no parasols outside (they aren't allowed to put up any due to the mill being a protected building) and very little shade from a single tree, so on sunny days, make sure to bring lots of sunscreen.
No cards accepted except for the German Girocard, so make sure to bring cash if you only have debit or credit cards.
Pros: nice ambiance, vegan options clearly marked, friendly service
Cons: no parasols outside, almost no shade, vegetarian options share a menu section with meat, no debit or credit cards accepted

Gute vegane Auswahl - Edit
Es gab eine gute vegane Auswahl, auch auf der saisonalen Spargelkarte war ein veganes Gericht (Spargellasagne) was ich bestellt habe. Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt!

Gutbürgerlich mit veganen Optionen - Edit
Sehr freundliche Bedienung und leckeres, gutbürgerliches Essen. Ein schönes Ausflugsziel in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Die Mühle ist schön anzusehen, kostenlose Parkplätze direkt davor. Wir wurden nett bedient, auch vegane Extrawünsche (Großer Salat in vegan) wurden gut und gerne umgesetzt.
