Serves meat, vegan options available. Dishes are all vegan except where otherwise indicated. Examples include an acai bowl, roasted cauliflower, nourish bowl and buckwheat pancakes. Also has weekly specials, a wide display case of sweets as well as tea, coffee and smoothies with plant milk. Open Mon-Sun 6:00am-3:00pm. Kitchen closes 2:30 pm.

First place I go on every work visit to Rocky. The staff at Kinsfolk are just beautiful! So helpful and friendly (especially thank u to Tom for his help with my lost receipt and Hannah for her smiles and kindness). Chef is always happy to ‘tweak’ something for me if I have a special urge! The only request would be for MORE! More options and more glorious specific vegan creations! Ill be back next trip! 😁🌈🪷

This haven in the dusty/smoky holes in the ground that is central Q is truly a sanctuary. Good vibes, sweet staff and wonderful meals, shakes and tasty treats. We talk about this place alot because we don't live in Rockhampton, but everytime we drive through, we know that we are stopping here. Even when we are on the road, this place and the staff make you feel at home. Big big love.

The food was amazing! The menu is vegan by default, with just a couple of options labelled 'nv (not vegan)'. They have nutritious sweet and savoury options ideal for a lunch or brunch, plus baked goods and smoothies.

Kinsfolk has the friendliest staff, 70% of the food on display was vegan, great coffee and delicious food. Definitely recommend the orange almond cake, savoury muffin and their salads!

Serious vegan options in the beef capital - Edit
My husband and I were not looking forward even to passing through Rockhampton due to its horrible reputation as the beef capital so cafes like this were a real surprise. Kinsfolk has a lovely sunny ambience and the vegan options were thoughtful and sophisticated. Just do the whole gig Vegan, Kinsfolk - you simply could not go wrong, even as a business decision alone.

Plenty of delicious food, most vegan friendly in town probably. I love that it's the nonvegan stuff that's labelled! I wish they'd skip the unethical stuff and go 100% vegan. Have some transition/unhealthy vegan food instead. Love this place.
