Mobile, AL, is very limited in vegan-option restaurants, so I was excited to learn this small and popular hot-dog restaurant downtown had a vegan dog. I tried it today. They have one vegan dog, but you can top it with tons of vegan options, chips, siracha, etc. I had my own vegan mayo with me and just had them add ketchup. It's a soy-based frankfurter, normal sized. Nothing special really. The place was charming and the service was amazing. The ladies behind the counter were so nice! That's why I'm giving them two stars instead of one. But the hot dog was almost $9 and it was just okay. Meh. If you're downtown and hungry for a hot dog, it will fill the spot. It wasn't bad. Just wasn't much.
