Authentic food - Edit
The 순두부 찌개 (Sundubu Jjigae, soft tofu stew) was very authentic, especially spiciness-wise 😅. Atmosphere is pretty casual, but still nice. There are vegan labels on the menu, but I am not sure I would fully trust them. Next time, I'd definitely ask about the side of Kimchi, which usually is not vegetarian by default.

"man du" not vegan! - Edit
We visited kim& with a group of 15 and were split into 4 tables. The tables were beer tent sets which are not particularly comfortable to sit on for longer time. In addition, these were placed on the pavement between garbage cans. The latter were there due to a garbage collection the following day, but it was no nice flair at all and the source for a special smell during our visit. To avoid it you might not want to visit them on a Tuesday and sit outside.
Read moreWe tried to do a reservation another time beforehand, but during that period they had holidays, which was neither announced on their web page nor via phone, but only on Instagram and by a sign at the door.
During ordering, it turned out that "man du" marked as vegan was not vegan and contains egg. "Jap Che" was also marked to contain egg and being vegan, in that case the egg label was a mistake. Issues that shouldn't happen and should be fixed once encountered.
The staff was rather inattentive, we had to actively ask for drink orders and a dish was accidentally delivered with a fried egg, which was removed after pointing to it. Then, the same plate was served again without any comment?! I cannot understand the latter since the entire group ordered vegan food and we had longer discussions due to the egg+vegan labels on the menu. Another dish was completely forgotten and delivered later, also without any comment or apology.
The food itself was tasty, but not outstanding and it were small portions for big prices, particularly the "tofu gang tschong". Ridiculously, payment by card is only accepted for amounts over 20 € (in 2023 after a pandemic).
My conclusion is that kim& is not worth a visit, especially since there are enough better Korean alternatives in Aachen.

Great Korean food - Edit
I really enjoying going to Kim&, there are several vegan options for starters and about 3 for the main dishes. Vegan options are easily identified.

Authentisch koreanisch & lecker - Edit

Great authentic korean restaurant, staff was very friendly. - Edit
The vegan version of the korean food was very good, tasted very authentic. If you choose the fried tofu, the chili sauce is made of syrup, not of honey! Staff was very helpful.
