Solid Variety - Edit
I love that mushrooms are used as meat replacement. The Brekkie skillet was a fab alternative for those of us who’ll never try the meat version. The fried vegan egg— never imagined my 1st try would be in Vietnam! (I’ve only seen pics online)

Went there twice because it was so good - Edit
Doner meat replacement and tzatziki were top notch. Vegan fried egg that came with the banh mi was also fantastic. Vietnamese coffee had very thick condensed plant milk and tasted so good. On my second visit, I had to try the pho as it is a vegan butcher, and it did not disappoint. I have very low tolerance to spicy food and separate sauce for the pho was quite spicy. I would advise people with low spiciness tolerance to go easy with the sauce. The fake chicken in the chicken burger is outstanding and better than most vegan chicken burger patties I get in Europe. Portions are pretty good too.

Amazing meat replacements and coffee - Edit
Went here twice because getting vegan Vietnamese coffee is hard and this one is great! Kiez is a bit far from Old Quarter, and there isn’t much to do around the area, and the walk from the bus stop is a bit far, but this place is worth going out of the way for!
Read moreTheir Vietnamese coffee is the best one I could find in Hanoi! Thats all I need to say.
When it comes to food, we got to try a total of 4 dishes: doner plate, Bahn mi plate, chick’s burger and the pho.
The Doner plate was great, it’s big, served with delicious bread, the tzatziki is to die for and the doner is also very good! In general their meat replacements are all delicious. Many greens as well.
Their bahn mi plate is recommended, all together tastes great, even the vegan egg is nice!
The chick’s burger was my favourite, I usually eat a lot of chick’n replacements but this was on another level. It’s nothing like European ones, but maybe one of the tastiest chicken burgers I had. It is (partly) made with mushroom and just great, but different than you might expect. Also this is also served with tzatziki as well
The Pho was good, just a solid pho with nice meat replacements. I don’t know how Pho is supposed to taste like as a foreigner. They serve it with spicy sauce which can be a bit spicy
Other than that, the seating is nice, they have room for about 14 people inside. Staff is very friendly, service is good and English is spoken well. Menu also available in English.

Burgers & Smoothies - Edit
We really enjoyed this vegan restaurant in Hanoi. The space is clean, bright, and welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to sit and enjoy a meal. The limited menu is clearly written in English, which is very helpful for travelers.
Read moreWe ordered the classic and pulled mushroom burgers, and both were delicious. The mango smoothie tasted fresh and natural—perfect for Hanoi’s warm weather.
Overall, it’s a great spot for affordable, tasty vegan food in a comfortable setting.

First time visiting - Edit
I just got done eating and words can not describe how good the food was but I’ll try anyway. The blueberry yoghurt smoothie? BANGING! The kebab fries? (Spoiler alert) Out of this world, crispy vegan meat, a cheesy sauce and onions on top, 10/10. the kebab wrap? Swept me right off my feet. Also the cookies are chewy on the inside but crispy on the outside, they are not scare with the chocolate chips either!! Don’t miss this spot, when you come to Hanoi, do expect fresh, flavorful food, huge portions and probably the nicest staff in town!!! Will be coming back for sure

Cons: Would be lying if I mentioned anything negative

Toda la carta es vegana, con comida "rapida" tipo kebabs, hot dogs, burgers (y algun Bahn Mi o plato de fideos clásico). Nos regalaron dos cookies.

Had an awesome chickn pita and classic burger. The mocha Oreo was DELICIOUS. servings way too big but who's complaining lol. Also the cookies were great. Slight gingernut taste was a bit strange from choc chip cookie but after first bite, was great. The best.

The perfect place for vegan expats who are craving some western food!
Read moreI’ve been twice and it’s been delicious and fairly priced food.
They often try not to accept 500k bills so just because weary of that. This is stressful as an expat who only gets paid in 500s cash!
Pros: Fully Vegan, Will alter meals for you, Western food
Cons: Don’t want to accept 500k bills

Best whipped cream - Edit
Not a fan of the milkshake itself, but the whipped cream was really good. The food was not as flavorful as I would’ve like and it left me with a super heavy feeling. Genuinely could not finish the fries. But huge portions I will say.

good but not amazing - Edit
It was a cool place but the fries were way too salty, I was hoping for vegan chicken to taste like something but it was just fried mushrooms. The cookies looked delicious but tasted bad, the chocolate was terrible. Price was higher. The kebab was good.

Overall a great place - Edit
Kiez Vegan is located on the Quang An Peninsula which is a much more peaceful place compared to Old Quarter. The food here at Kiez are mostly meaty dishes such as kebabs but there are some Vietnamese dishes like pho as well. The staff also seem to often make various desserts or sweets such as brownies. The food is good quality, there is free WiFi, and credit card is accepted. Overall a great place.

Great burger and chicken sandwich. Usually don’t try western food in Asia but thought I’d do something different. Burger was better than the ones they have in my local restaurants.

Chilling Vegan Bistro in Hanoi - Edit
I came here with my friends. They have so many vegan dishes from chick’un burger, doner kebab, chick’un wrap, vegan nugget and they also have vegan Hanoi traditional noodle soup ( Pho Bo Chay) only served in some days. Really recommend Pulled Shroom Fries. It’s really interesting.
