Nice experience - Edit
I had never tried Lithuanian food before. I had the vegan mushroom and cheese dumplings. The mushrooms inside were very tasty and there was an interesting contrast of flavors between the filling, the herbs, chilli mayo and schmand. I'll be back to try the hack ones.

Read moreIch hatte die veganen Wareniki gefüllt mit Tofuhack, dazu Schmand Chili-Mayo, meine Begleitung (vegetarisch) die Wareniki gefüllt mit Kartoffeln Käse, dazu ebenfalls Schmand.
Von der Menge her sah es zuerst gar nicht so viel aus, wir wurden aber trotzdem gut satt.
Dazu gabs eine hausgemachte Limonade.
Preislich ist es etwas teurer, aber beim Essengehen gönnt man sich ja auch mal was.
Hätten gern noch das vegane Softeis probiert. Auf Nachfrage hieß es leider, dass es das nicht mehr geben wird, weil die Maschine kaputt ist.

Cons: Kein veganes Softeis mehr. Schade :(

Wareniki are a nice experience - Edit
The dumplings filled with mushrooms and cheese are yummy and filling, with the vegan schmand adding a nice balance. It was great to try, but the vegan selection is limited so probably won’t go back regularly. The place feels relaxed, with outdoor seating and friendly staff.

It was fun to try Lithuanian food! Had the vegan mushroom and cheese wareniki with schmand (tastes like cream cheese) and it was good. Would like to try the sour cherry version, but they were out. Loved that they took my tupperware to the kitchen and packed it up for take away😄
