Read moreauthentisches Thailändisches Essen und eine gute Auswahl. Es gibt etwa 7-8 Gerichte sowie eine Vorspeise, die durch Wahl von „only Gemüse“ oder Tofu Vegan sind. Wir hatten einmal die Frühlingsrollen und ein grünes Curry mit Tofu (ich mag scharf und es war schon ordentlich Schärfe) sowie einmal das Wokgericht mit Tofu und einer roten, leicht scharfen Sauce. Preislich nicht ganz günstig, aber angemessen und die Bedienung war super lieb.😄
Pros: Auswahl der Gerichte, Höfliche Bedienung , Gute Schärfegrade
Cons: Getränke primär die klassischen Cola Getränke

The vegan options are few, but tasty. It helped to specify what should not be in the food (fish/oyster sauce and egg, as recommended in the description). When ordering, the waitress was very patient and gave a good thought about my questions. She was not sure about the curries as they are pre-mixed and she doesn't know the exact recipe. She recommended to order the Pad Nam Man Hoi, as it is freshly mixed and seasoned and oyster sauce can be actively avoided.

They don’t know what vegan means. - Edit
I asked if the pad thai could be made vegan, and they assured me it could. It showed up with egg all through it. When I pointed it out they insisted that eggs were vegan. I tried to explain what vegan meant but they continued to argue. Disappointed as the food otherwise looked and smelled great.

I think there is some soace for misunderstanding as in Netherlands, the new label for "vegetarian" seems to be "vega" which is very very similar to "vegan"... We were there today and it helped to specify what should not be inside.

Wir besuchten Khao Thai kurz nach der Öffnung und waren die einzigen Gäste. Auf unsere Anfrage hin versicherte man uns, dass sowohl die Frühlingsrollen als auch die Currys vegan zubereitet werden können. Wir entschieden uns für diese Gerichte und fanden sie lecker. Die Einrichtung des Restaurants erinnert an ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer, was eine entspannte Atmosphäre schafft. Obwohl es vielleicht nicht unser Stammrestaurant wird, ist es eine gute Option für alle, die in Zandvoort veganes Essen suchen.
