A Vegan UP Oasis - Edit
In a part of the state where finding any vegan food is a challenge, this place is a wonderful oasis! We stopped in after a few days in Isle Royale and were rewarded with fresh, creative sandwiches that were complemented with a "protein salad" (chickpeas and lots of crisp veggies). The food was excellent. The store is well stocked, with many vegan products that one would expect to find in most major US cities (tofurkey, field roast, etc); however, finding these items here is remarkable.

A small-town vegans dream - Edit
I love our local co-op. I have been surprised countless times by the items they offer. When beyond burger just hit the market I thought it was just for bigger cities, but I was happily surprised to find it at the co-op. They also have a great deli with vegan options for everyone, including the bakery. I love that you can buy bulk/package-free items if you bring your own container. If you want it, they’ve likely got it.

A large number of vegan products - from food to shampoo. The deli has a lot of vegan options, most clearly labeled. They always have some vegan bakery items too, my favorite is the German cake.

Great little co-op with almost everything you need for your vegan kitchen. Good selection with a small but pretty produce department. Their deli has some good vegan tofu options too.
