Unbelievable options - Edit
We have never been to a vegan place with sooooo many amazing options! We are here for 3 days and had 3 meals at Kaya’s. Everything we ate was so delicious. We plan to come back just to try more of the menu.

Great variety, taste, and service - Edit
Jersey doesn't have a lot of fully vegan restaurants and those open for dinner are even fewer. Still - Kaya's Kitchen is a high quality vegan restaurant not to be missed, if you enjoy plant-based food. My partner and I love breakfast food at all hours so were very glad they serve breakfast all day. We each had a vegan take on the Jersey pork roll. It was absolutely delicious and the home fries were cooked nicely as well. I had a delicious, earthy fresh juice - Jungle Boost. Desserts were tasty too, though I felt like my Tiramisu could have used a little more coffee flavor. The cream was one of the best vegan creams I've ever had. There are some gluten free dessert options too. The staff was extremely friendly and good vibes all around. I will be frequenting this restaurant a lot in future. Looks like they do a lot of takeout as well, if you don't have time to sit and enjoy in the restaurant.

Really delicious food, friendly staff, and extensive GF options - Edit
I drove 30 mins out of the way to come here and it did not disappoint! Excellent menu, lots of great options for everyone. The buffalo cauliflower wings were perfect and the tempeh Rueben was very good. Hand cut fries were also amazing. Service was good and staff were all very nice. Vibe of the restaurant is cool too. I would definitely come back here again and try something new.

I really wanted to love this place - Edit
But I just couldn’t. The staff was nice. The food was nothing special. We had the seitan stroganoff and the pierogi. It did not taste bad or anything, but it was quite bland. However, the hibiscus ice tea I got was horrible. I went with non-vegans who did not enjoy their time there at all.

A little disappointed - Edit
The first time I came here, I got the cheesesteak and it was really good. This time, I got the bbq drumsticks, french dipper, and mac and cheese. The french dipper was very good, but the fries it came with didn't have much flavor and seemed overcooked. It seemed to me like the oil may not have been at the optimal temperature. The bbq drumsticks came with mashed potatoes and vegetables, all of which were decent, but the vegetables didn't have much flavor (but I didn't really mind this because I like the taste of the vegetables themselves). The mac and cheese was the most disappointing. It reminded me of daiya mac and cheese, but with less flavor. The mac and cheese we got looked different from the pictures we saw online, so I'm not sure if they changed the recipe. I would go back to try some of the other items, but I'm disappointed this visit wasn't as good as the last one.

best vegan food in new jersey! - Edit
love love love this place! finding vegan and gluten free food in nj is pretty difficult but the options at this place are so good so it’s pretty much the only place my husband and i go to. i’ve tried a few things but my favorites are the tempeh reuben and the grilled tofu steak with *the best* mashed potatoes. the portions are pretty decent also, every time i order the tofu steak i have enough left over for another meal. i wish they had some more gluten free options but what they do have is really great!

Rocky Mountain Stew 10/10 - Edit
Kaya’s never disappoints. My go-to order was Miso Soup, Salad, Buffalo Tempeh…until I tried the Rocky Mountain Stew! The Rocky Mountain Stew is so flavorful and filling. If you are portion controlling, you will have left overs (if you can stop yourself from eating it all)!!!

Fantastic - Edit
All vegan menu. Food was absolutely delicious. I got the seitan steak and my bf got the tempeh and seitan buffalo wings. We also had the bbq seitan ribs for an appetizer and we loved all of it. We sat outside and was attended to constantly. The kitchen was very busy with orders so they warned us the food may take a little longer but we didn't mind and it was well worth the wait. We had their local coffee after our meal which was very tasty as well. The service was great and our server gave us coffee on the house when she learned that it was my birthday which was very sweet. Whenever I am in the area I will definitely be back! Highly highly recommend.

Everything I get from Kaya’s is always delicious. My faves are the Soul Seitan and gyro. I mostly order takeout, but the restaurant service is friendly and quick whenever we dine in. This is a great place for vegans and non-vegans alike, as there is a huge menu with plenty of delicious options.

Extensive menu - Edit
We ate at Kaya's Kitchen while visiting NJ and had a great experience. Very nice atmosphere with a very extensive menu and a lot of variety. We were with a group who tried a number of different dishes which were all delicious. The only one not loved was the Mac & cheese because it tasted sweet rather than savory. We'll definitely be back on our next visit!
