Probably the best cake in Wrocław - Edit
If you are in Wrocław, treat yourself with a nice coffee art and some delicious cake at Kawastrofa.
Read moreSometimes they have savory items too, but their coffee and cake (as their Polish name suggest) are the primary things.
They have some seating outside, where you can enjoy some greenery, and the view of one of the citys many beautiful church towers.
Be aware that Google Maps might send you at a strange detour, if you want to go to Kawastrofa from the city centre. But you will be able to take the direct route over Most Pomorski Południowy, and turn left at Księcia Witolda.
TL;DR: Great Coffee and cakes, and Kawastrofa is closer to the city centre than Google Maps shows

Small cafe next to the water, in a modern, newly built neighbourhood. Relaxing piano music and minimalistic interior design. Nice outdoor seating next to lots of plants.

Extremely friendly staff, delicious coffee - quick drip, v60, wide selection. Tried the quick drip and it was delicious.

It’s my favourite café in the city and the best one for vegans who want a variety of choices and specialty coffee. They also have matcha. There are always many cakes and some sweet rolls to choose from. I love their focaccia when I want something savoury. They change their menu often (check on their Facebook page) so you can’t get bored. The place is located close to the Old Town but in a quiet area. People there are also very nice. I recommend this place to everyone, even if you’re not on a vegan diet you should enjoy their food and drinks.

Such a cute little place!! We found this place thanks to Happy Cow, not a place you run into, you almost have to know it to find it, but oh so nice! When we got there we got great help from the staff who, in English, described what they had to offer. We each had a latte (so nicely made) and a cheesecake and a chocolate bounty cake. We ate outside in the sun and enjoyed life!

What I loved about this coffee shop was the great selection of iced drinks and speciality coffee. The cakes were pretty good too.
Read moreIt was late afternoon, and after a long shift pounding the pavement, I needed a break. I went for the Irish iced matcha — a lovely tricolour drink that looked as good as it tasted. Refreshing and flavourful, it paired perfectly with my cake.
It’s is a bit out of town, but definitely worth the visit.

To be honest, Kawastrofa was a bit hard to find. If you come from the North-East it looks like a you're passing a courtyard for apartments so it was quite easy to walk a bit to far.
Read moreLuckily I found the café and could order a kakao and a lemon chocolat cake. The kakao was delicious and their lemon-chocolat cake had a strong lemon and a strong chocolat flavour. Very interesting and delicious flavour contrast! I was also happy that the cake wasn't too sweet.
Both the café and direct environment are nicely decorated. I could enjoy the view on a part of the Wroclan skyline.
