Love that this place is all vegan, which is difficult to find in Costa Rica. The food was really good. We got the cauli wings, fried tofu sandwich, and a smoothie. Everything was really good, flavorful, and the woman running the place was super nice and welcoming. Would definitely come back here and support as it’s difficult for an all vegan restaurant in these parts.

Karma is a gem - Edit
I went to Karma today thanks to Happy Cow. It was everything you hope for. I was with a friend and we shared the snack plate. I had the Mexican burger and she had the Cick’free sandwich. We both loved everything we got. The person working was super helpful and friendly.

Hidden Gem in Jaco 👌 - Edit
Everything we tried was delicious. The hearts of palm ceviche and Mexi burger were standouts—both packed with flavor and done really well. The chocolate chip cookie was also a must, soft and perfectly made. Definitely worth a stop!

Delicious vegan food, kind staff, and nice vibe. I ordered the seitan salad, and the seitan was unexpectedly greasy, but the rest of the salad was healthy. My partner had the tofu sandwich, and he enjoyed it. The corn ribs were fantastic. We got a chocolate chip cookie to go, and it was great.

The food was delicious and the service was great. The only reason I didn't stay to try everything is because I was too full, but I still took a cookie (🍪) to go

I had the Vegan sandwich which was pretty. The Chocolate chip cookies are amazing (I had the opportunity of meeting the cookie baker an he a wonderful person). The fresh Smoothies are awesome and refreshing. I happen to be my birthday and they sang to me and gave me a brownie with candles! “Pura Vida” vibes

What didn’t I like, that’s the real question. Just go there. You won’t be disappointed. We had a chicken sandwich with roasted baby potatoes- crushed it. Carbonara-legit. Corn ribs with 2 sauces- omg. And cookie- yum. And the 2-for-1 happy hour cocktails- yes.

I am writing my review from the banquet of Karma (fully happy stomach) because I don’t want to neglect to speak about how much I have and still enjoy this restaurant. I’ve been coming to Karma for 2 consecutive years and it’s such a joy to dine here. The staff are helpful, friendly and welcoming. The menu offers a lot and I’ve never had a better non meat based burger. My gf and I eat here every chance we get and there is never a moments hesitation to come back. We’ll be happily dining here on our travels as long as this place exists. A real gem. Don’t miss it.

Fantastic food, margaritas, & staff - Edit
We stopped into Karma for an afternoon snack of plant based food and ended up also having some margaritas. The food was fantastic. But the margaritas were the best we’ve had in Jaco thus far. So much so that we stopped into Karma two more times in the next 1-2 days for more margaritas. Tatiana was our amazing front of house staff person and she was great, and made these great margaritas. We just wish we came into Karma earlier in the trip, because now I want to try everything on the menu. We only had the ceviche and burger and both were great! Come visit Karma! We thoroughly enjoyed the passion fruit margaritas & ginger margaritas.

Had some great food here. Loved the carbonara and mexi burger. Atmosphere was nice. Tried to sit outside but too much cigarette smoke from the bars on the street. Do not leave ANYTHING in your car. Our gross, old water shoes and snorkeling masks were stolen from the locked car. #Veganuary

I liked the food! I ordered Bagel Tofu (twice!) And tje Mushroom Bagel, and a big shake. Everything was delicious, the food came out really fast, it looked small but made me totally full. The waitress was cute and helped me choose the dish, and on my second time there she let us in 20 min before they closed and literally saved us!

Wir waren total begeistert. Die Nudeln Carbonara waren excellent. Mein Mann hatte das Chick-Free Sandwich, auch mega gut. Hier hat alles gepasst, schönes Restaurant mit Außenbereich, nettes Personal. Absolut zu empfehlen. Hier sollte man auf jeden Fall hin! Wir hoffen, nochmal hinzukommen. Wir waren dann ein zweites mal da, es war einfach nur top!
