My partner went to this store the other day and was suggested to buy a product made in Israel. He declined to purchase the product because our family is boycotting Israeli products. The shop assistant became very angry and started blattering about "hostages" and "Hamas". Besides the fact that it is a costumer's choice to decide how they wish to spend their money, I am appalled that an organic food store would support such a stance. We spend extra money for fairtrade, sustainable and ethical products because we want to live in a better world. Unfathomable that there would be room in this store for a supporter of a nation that has killed 20,000 children and forcefully starving another million. I wouldn't trust this place at all.
Prices could be better, staff not exactly at the desired level. - Edit
Prices as said.
Besides that, It is the kind of shop where, if in the stress of a rush hour you leave without taking some of the articles you have bought, do not expect them to call you back ("Sir, you have left this"). They consider it as legitimate booty -and some of their articles can be quite expensive.
This is a small health food store, around the same size to 4 Seasons around the corner. They sell organic produce and a few vegan packaged goods. The store is clean and well maintained, though naturally the choices are slimmer than you would find in a large health food store.
This store is beautiful.
Here you will find a wide selection of organic produce, dried goods and vegan products.
Their vegetables are of high quality and you can find everything you'll need to make yourself an abundant organic raw vegan salad.
They too offer gluten free products, oils, sundried tomatoes and olives, spices, non-toxic menstrual pads (from Natra-care) and more.
The shop is located close to Syntagma sq. and is beautiful inside.
Vegetarian options are about the same as the bio shop one street away. Also all vegetables are packaged so would recommend bio shop.
However they do have a better range of frozen meals (gf,lf pizza etc) if you're after something easy.
If you're also gluten free then this shop has LOTS of options.
