Decent burger - Edit
Decent menu with quite a few options - but I’d prefer there to be less soy and more GF options. Very pretty decor though

Charming place, delicious food - Edit
We spent a joyful Friday evening here (without reservation). The Klassic Burger is very tasty and the Matcha cheesecake fantastic. Extremely friendly team. We will definitely come back.

I’d visit again, but book ahead - Edit
It was busy when we visited on Sunday and we had to come back half an hour later to be seated. The food was worth the wait though - especially the burger. The tacos were nice but needed a side as they are not actually corn tacos. Next time I would order the burger or salad bowls, which looked amazing. I also had a bite of my friend‘s burger and it was tasty. If also try to be seated upstairs which looked more spacious, although not sure how well service is upstairs. Was attentive and friendly downstairs. Yes, it’s pricey, but I would go again, especially when in that part of town.

Tasty breakfast burrito - Edit
I was a bit worried it might be case of style over substance but actually my breakfast burrito was really tasty. It is served with kale chips, of which I'm a big fan, so that was a bonus.
Read moreI am glad I tried it but I won't be in a rush to go back because I felt that the food was a bit pricey and, despite the pretty interior, it was lacking in atmosphere.
Pros: All vegan, Kale chips!
Cons: Price, Lacks atmosphere

Disappointing - Edit
The aesthetics of this place is amazing however I wish they focussed as much on the food as they do on the materialistic things. We went for brunch and although my friends enjoyed theirs (avo on toast and mushrooms on toast) my tofu dish had a strange taste and they didn’t have any gluten free bread which was disappointing considering they offer it clearly on the menu. It’s also very expensive for what the food is. £9 for mushrooms on toast? And literally that’s all it is. Also it says “wild mushrooms” on the menu and it was just your bog-standard shrooms that were served. Wouldn’t return.

Complete gimmick - Edit
Visited Kalifornia Kitchen for brunch with my family. No passion behind the food, they clearly value atmosphere and decor over the menu. Tofu scramble was dry and bland, the toast wasn’t even buttered. Avo toast was just guacamole rather than fresh avocado. The freshly squeezed orange juice and chips were the only enjoyable part. This restaurant is trying way too hard to be trendy and the food is suffering for it. Won’t be back.

Okay - Edit
Had the tacos with pulled jackfruit, very small portion and nothing special considering the cost. Wouldn't recommend this meal. The restaurant was very pretty however and the service was good, they were very welcoming.

Great food but too early for five stars - Edit
Went there only a few months after opening. The interior is lovely, especially upstairs it is nice and cozy. It was very busy the day we went for breakfast/brunch. Staff were friendly, but you could tell that they still need some time to get used to everything and figure out who needs to do what. For example they forgot to bring me my drink. It was also a bit odd that 3 or 4 different people served us. But the menu is great and everything we tried tasted delicious. I loved my sister’s pancakes and also the tofu scrambled egg I ordered. My boyfriend got the burger and really liked that too. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the pink croissant which was a bit weird as we were there one hour after they’d opened. A bit pricey considering the size of the portions, but I‘d still like to come back.

You need to try it for yourself - Edit
I was a bit apprehensive given the bad reviews about the staff but I must say they were lovely to me and very accommodating, even with a ‘no onions’ request. Tried their burger as recommended by many. As a vegan 15 years into the ”job” I am not a fan of stuff that is made to look and taste like meat, but I can see why many vegans would love it. Def worth a visit.

Place is a bit too new to treat clients with a kind of attitude. By the way, burger not bad, but sorry, prices not justified. Very small and boring menu. Please improve!

Tasty but pricey - Edit
Never having been to California, this restaurant is what I'd expect it to look like: pink and trendy.
Read moreI ordered the Klassik Kalifornia Burger and liked it very much, especially the crispy paprika fries that came with it.
The only thing that took me by surprise was the pricing. Everything on the menu was rather expensive even for London standards, and on top of that came an obligatory service charge. To my mind, the portions weren't big enough to justify this.
Regardless, I can't complain about the quality of the food and the atmosphere, so full stars from me.

Incredible Burger - Edit
Possibly the best vegan burger I’ve had in a restaurant. Great flavour, great texture. Haven’t had many like it. It was admired by my carnivore friends too.

Food is sooo good! Unfortunately they didn’t offer all the items on the (dessert) menu also not when I came back a few days later. Nontheless, I would go back if I’m in London because I still wanna try the pink croissant the brownie and cheesecake🤤

Cool Cali Vibes - Edit
I had the burrito which was expertly stuffed full of beans and to my amazement, lots and lots deep-fried shallots. I have a penchant for these crunchy flakes of umami, and it simply gave me so much satisfaction biting into the buritto. There was some pickled red cabbage emulsion (purple dots in the photo) which tasted a lot like vegetable oil with a hint of earthy cabbage - though it wasn't as disgusting as I made it sound. The kale chips were superbly crunchy with a thick coating of that yeasty coaty; it was definitely one of the better kale chips I have had so far.
Read moreFor dessert, I had the matcha cheesecake which had a nice thick layer of cashew cheese, although apart from a hint of green there wasn't much of a green tea taste (as is sadly usually the case). It was very pretty though, and the seedy berry coulis and edible flowers definitely made it Instagram-worthy.
The interior design is spectacular and it's obvious that a lot of money and attention to detail has been put into it. The same can be said of the cutlery and tableware - I have never used such beautiful knives and forks in such an ostensibly casual restaurant before!
All in all, I am definitely looking forward to coming back for another meal!
Pros: Stylish interior and elegant tableware, Inventive, tasty food

Beautiful decor and really lovely staff. I had the moving mountains b12 guac burger and my boyfriend had the classic burger. Both came pretty quickly and were very delicious. Generous portions of house made mayo and ketchup too. We were too full for dessert but they looked great.
