Fantastic!

My partner and I, being vegetarian and vegan, had already planned to eat at Kaingavai but actually stumbled upon it quite randomly on our first day when we realised it was a Sunday and the bus we'd been waiting for wasn't coming. It was such a treat to come across; a lovely walk down a little track to the beautifully calm setting of the eatery itself. We were the only two customers there and enjoyed having a chat with the lady who's place it is, who does all the food herself. The food was delicious - so fresh and wholesome. It was a real delight to come across this place and see the enthusiasm and passion the owner has for what she's doing. Very inspiring!
The only downside is that we wanted to go back but never got the opportunity!!

Beautiful location and food

You have to go down a drive way to get there but it's worth it as there is a beautiful pond and lots of trees with the mountains in the background. The food was very wholesome and tasty. Lots of vegan options

Absolutely fantastic

Beautiful vegan food, fresh, and delicious! Lynsey knows what she is doing! Creative menu and lots of options. Very friendly. What a stunning setting for a cafe, too. This is a must visit for vegs coming to Rarotonga.
