I had a morning coffee here on my way out of Copenhagen, and I'm so glad I stopped by! The Oreo cheesecake (and the raspberry cake I ended up taking with me) was absolutely delicious and the staff was super nice.

I love stopping by here with friends on a day out and about. Small but cozy, so many vegan options. Cheesecakes that taste just like the regular thing, hazelnut chocolate torte which is amazing and of course their vegan donut Wednesday which is just amazing. Almost the best vegan donuts I've had, only beaten by Holy Donut of Lithuania.

We visited Kaf solely for cake and my word they have a great selection of cakes inside that are inexpensive. We ordered the oreo and salted caramel cheesecake (39kr) with a matcha latte and soya milk. Both the cheesecakes were delicious, although I couldn't eat all of mine, so the wife polished it off with no difficulty at all. Inside Kaf is very cosy and the staff are very friendly and it's the sort of place you could easily pass a few hours away with friends and family.

This is a sweet little cafe that just FEELS like Denmark. The girl at the front was super nice and translated the Danish menu for us, and many of the things can be either vegan or vegetarian. I got a vegan panini and my wife got the vegan komplet (traditional Danish brunch) and both were spot on. The panini seemed to use Violife or some similar high quality vegan cheese and was delicious. The coffee was also very good.

From the photos shown here, I wasn't sure how filling the brunch plate would be, but we left pretty stuffed! Everything tasted fresh and really good. Their home-made bread rolls are so good, the avocado half was so nicely seasoned, and the granola was toasted to perfection. The cakes looked really beautiful, but sadly there was no room left to give them a try...but we'll be back!

This cafe is popular and for good reason! We were lucky to grab the last available table as we entered (it's quite a small place), and we ordered the vegan Oreo cheesecake, which came in huge slices and was utterly delicious. They also offer oat milk for your coffee at no extra charge. The staff weren't mega friendly compared to what we'd experienced elsewhere in Copenhagen so far, but in fairness they were pretty busy! Would still recommend this place, especially if you have a sweet tooth like me.

Menu is in Danish but the staff were very lovely, more than happy to explain the menu to us. I had the vegan brunch and my friend got a panini - both very flavorsome . I got a second coffee with oat milk because the first was lush and green tea had a pleasantly unique blend . Very reasonable prices can't fault them at all

This sweet place is just around the corner from Elmegade and has vintage shops nearby. My friend and I shared the brownie caramel cheesecake- delicious! All the cakes are vegan. The vegan breakfast looks tempting. I also had a matcha latte and it was great. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. I like that you don't have to pay extra for soy milk. This topped off a wonderful stay in Copenhagen. Highly recommended.

Visited Kaf Cafe on my birthday this week with my GF and we tried a couple of their vegan cakes. They were truly delicious: my cheesecake was as good as anything I've ever tasted.

Read moreThe cafe is a decent size, clean and the staff is friendly. The menu is nearly all vegan, with only a couple of exceptions, but everything can be veganized. I got an open faced avocado sandwich and the above named cheesecake. My husband got a sandwich and a cake called kiksekage, which is basically kiks (sweet crackers?) surrounded by chocolate and in layers.
Everything tasted great and I love that cheesecake. They seem to do other cakes all the time and if I lived closer I would go all the time. I heard that you can order whole cakes too but haven't done that myself.
