I went there in person after I ordered from DoorDash. I wish I lived closer. The gyro burger and fries are so good. I also had the nachos which were excellent. Will continue to DoorDash when I’m at work.

Phenomenal Restaurant - Edit
I loved this spot from the second I walked in! The server was so friendly and helpful and brought me some gyro “meat” to try without me even asking. The menu is definitely not “just falafel” and is actually pretty extensive, including cocktails, beer, and wine. I ended up choosing the quesadilla trio and couldn’t decide which of the three proteins was my favorite. Will be back asap with my non vegan family, because I know Just Falafel will not disappoint.

We enjoyed this place so much. So many vegan options! We got the Mediterranean Harvest Pasta, the beetroot avocado toast, guacamole with chips, and chocolate cake and pistachio baklava for dessert. It was wonderful.

Really glad we found the place. Seating inside is very comfortable and chic. The food was absolutely delicious. They also have a full bar. I ordered a mint lemonade off the mocktail menu and it was excellent. We opted to “build our own” pitas selecting ingredients that we could see but that they assembled (like an upscale Chipotle with a Mediterranean flare) because there were so many fresh options to choose from. I had the pita bread with sumac onions, kale, pickles (the really good kind that are long and cut slender—homemade?), olives, tabbouleh, fresh mint and cilantro, vegan gyro protein (perfect) and vegan feta (perfect). There were lots of sauces to choose from, and I went with spicy garlic (oh yeah!). My husband also made his own pita. We added curly fries—perfectly cooked. I will come again and probably order the same. My husband wants to try the kabobs. The loaded gyro fries sounded really good, so maybe I’d try those. The portions were large and we took home half our food.

I ordered the Falafel Nachos through door dash and had kind of low expectations since the food wouId have to travel a ways before it got to me. I was worried the pita nachos wouId be soggy. Instead, they were fresh and crispy and absolutely delicious and satisfying. 10/10

I cannot stop talking about this place, delicious, clean, vibey, wonderful, amazing. I only have nice things to say. This was the cleanest restaurant I have ever been to and everything was incredibly fresh. It is so easy to customize your meal when you can literally build your own bowl of delicious vegan delights. The vegan gyro was mind blowing-ly accurate and made in house. Did I mention the hummus? AH SO GOOD!! This is the best place in Houston to get clean, fresh, packed with flavor food. The owners are super sweet and clearly care about the animals (they have a beautiful photo area sharing the message “be kind to every kind”) If I lived closer I’d be eating here everyday!! #Veganuary

It’s new, great food food, ambiance, good service, very friendly, will accommodate any dietary needs. We’ve eaten here a few times and have wanted to come back again. The food is fresh, great menu. Soups are good, menu items are good, the build a bowl bar is also great. The cocoa chocolate cake is very good, it leaves you with a satisfying good feeling. Sweet potato fries: best in Houston.

I don't live in Houston anymore and was accompanied by my son. We decided to try this restaurant on Oct 11 as it was on our way to our next appointment and it met my requirement of being vegan.
Read moreOn our arrival, we were both impressed by the ambiance, the cleanliness, and the service. My son ordered the 3 different quesadillas and I ordered the jackfruit tacos. We each traded one of our items to sample both. Our favorite were the quesadillas. However, we both enjoyed the jackfruit tacos too.
We were delighted to meet the owner and he generously gave us samples of his garlic sauce and gave us suggestions for our meal.
It did not occur to me to take pictures of our meals, but the presentation was very nice, the flatware was of good quality (something that always impresses me in this day and age of throwaway and cheaply made stuff culture) and our food was brought to our table promptly. The portions were generous and quite filling.
I did take a few pictures before we left which I am uploading. I also recommended this cafe to at least 5 people before we left town that day. I know they will enjoy it as much as I did.

Very fresh and delicious tofu egg salad sandwich. They forced me to get the soup and wouldn’t allow me to substitute fries, but my husband said the lentil soup was pretty good. We’ll be back to try more stuff on the menu. My husband said his meal was the best vegan burger in Houston.

They have recently opened and were doing a soft opening. Everything was great! They have a sit-down cafe menu, and also a build-your-own falafel bar. Everything is vegan, so it’s a treat to get things like gyro meat and tzatziki sauce in addition to standard falafel fare. The people are super nice and very friendly.

The falafel loaded nachos were delicious. I also had the chocolate cake. My son had the mocha cafe and he enjoyed it very much. Great all vegan menu with all fresh ingredients. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service was great.

This is hands down my new favorite vegan restaurant. I noticed the sign when driving by the Galleria one day. The food is amazing, it’s centrally located and the variety of dishes is fantastic. They have the best Mac n cheese and the chocolate cake is to die for.
