Really delicious food and very friendly staff. The best vegan food we had whilst in Belfast.

Vegan reference

Really good prices, short but excellent menu, don't need to be bigger. Gfree options. If you need a place to make vegan restaurant add a reference, this would be it.

Twinned

UPDATE: got the chips to go. Sriracha and other ingredients made this the nicest to go lunch I've had in Belfast. Very cheap and plentiful, you must go if you are a veggie in Belfast! No excuses
------

Finally visited this place. Upon seeing it appear on happycow I went with my bro and essentially traversed the entire half mile radius around the place looking for it. (Thanks to last reviewer who pointed out it's signage says "cafe Torino".) Walked right past! It's beside the tattoo parlour and Hudsons. and opposite the Nero. Situated in a strange [censored] end to Belfast's main streets, my theory is that the closing of a few main businesses and hence lower footfall has allowed in the more creative, small business (and graffiti artists).
These guys are certainly in that category. Owing their name to a Buddhist proverb (not sure where the jumping part comes from though), these guys offer what I can only describe as fusion food that seems to be all, or mostly, vegan. Based around hotdogs - might have recognised a Linda McCartney but think there's more on offer - but the real star was what went with it. I ordered the "kurry qween". 2 sausages in a nice, sizeable bread roll covered with a Malaysian style peanut curry that was incredibly delicious, then noodles placed on top with a very generous side salad. All served quickly to go and enough food to sink a horse all for £4.80 which is beyond a fair price for the quality and portion size. Yes the concept seemed a little unusual - it's basically a Chinese and a hotdog - but came together remarkably well.
I love independence, creativity and am definitely coming back to try again.

Great food Belfast City centre.

Walked past this place 3 times looking for it, forget Jumping Buddha... Look for Torino Cafe it's the same place or see if you can spy the Rabbit! It's opposite Cafe Nero not Tesco Express two doors along from the Tattoo parlor.

Worth the effort to track it down great choice of Vegan food, reasonable price and a chatty Owner!

Pros: Good selection of gluten free options as well, the

Cons: Finding the place under its new name.

Awesome food - affordable price!

This place had a great selection of tasty hot meals and generous portions. Make sure to try the gyoza!! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the place was small but cozy. As the place has only just opened, the sign wasnt installed yet, look out for "torino cafe" :)

Pros: All vegan, Generous portions , Home made sauces

Excellent Vegan Cafe

Really looking forward to revisiting this dedicated vegan cafe in Belfast City Centre.

Just opened recently, we had to search for it as they don't have the frontage sorted yet but I'm told this will be sorted in the next few days.

This is more of a relaxed cafe than a formal restaurant. The chef is a master of Asian flavours and I can't wait to try all the other items on the menu.

Pros: Quality of the food.

Cons: Not open at night presently but will be soon.
