Delicious and very friendly - Edit
The food was tasty and very reasonable. The people were just lovely. I was there during the summer so was wide open with fresh air and lots of plants. I highly recommend!

Joyve cafe - Edit
This place has a huge menu, servings very generous. It’s a casual, almost cafeteria vibe. We had the curry laksa and ramen. The laksa wasn’t too spicy and both featured mock meats that had a smoky flavour - I’m not a huge fan but I know some people like that!
Read moreThe owner was very friendly and brought us some free fruit to try as well (feijoa).
They also had a cake section. We got takeaway hot chocolates - top notch. They offer a variety of hot drinks like chai latte and sweet potato latte too.

4.5 stars —Liked the dumplings a lot - Edit
Wanted to love the Laksa, but was too spicy and un-unami (that's a word, right?) for me. My husband had the hot and sour soup which he liked and I didnt. The noodles in the soups tasted home made and were great! The Shepard's Purse dumplings were really good!

Great food - Edit
This might be my new favourite place in Auckland. The menu is really big, there are lots of nice options to choose from, the portions are large, and everything is delicious. The only complaint I have is that I asked for everything to be spicy and I don't think anything had even the slightest spice to it.

Homey and Delicious - Edit
I didn’t know what to order, everything sounded so good. I decided on Hand Pulled Noodles with Mushrooms and a Ham and Pickle bun. Fresh cucumber, carrots, bean sprouts, and lettuce; hot minced mushrooms and fantastic fresh noodles. Sandwich was phenomenal but I would have preferred more pickles over the lettuce. Staff is so friendly, and just sitting inside the restaurant is such a great warm homey vibe.

Best Thai in Auckland - Edit
Everyone was very nice and helpful. The portions were huge and what every place should be serving. Food was amazing is far better than some other Thai places in Auckland. The staff offered us tea and oranges with our order and it was very wholesome.

Best Asian Food I've had in New Zealand - Edit
Fully vegan cafe that is open for lunch and (early) dinner. Can order food (noodles, dumplings, rice dishes etc) for dine-in or takeaway from their a la carte menu or can order a variety of ready-to-eat food from their cabinet. Their food is a blend of authentic Chinese/Malay cuisine.
Read moreI'm on a mission to try everything on their menu and everything I've had so far has been so flavourful and tasty. Everything on the menu is $20 and under and the portion sizes have been very generous, making their food great value for money. Their dumplings and noodles are handmade and are high-quality.
I like that they always have new things to try in their cabinet that I haven't heard of, as well as the usual old favourites (steam buns, curry puffs, spring rolls etc). I especially love that they have Malaysian snacks that I haven't seen sold elsewhere in Auckland such as onde-onde and kueh.
Clean premises and peaceful ambience with wifi available, making this a great place to work from. The owner is so friendly and is vegan himself. They like to serve you with a small plate of sliced fruit at the end of your meal and occasionally have new tasty offerings for you to sample.
Haven't ordered any of the hot drinks they sell yet, but I've heard good things about their chai lattes!
Cannot recommend this place enough for vegans and non-vegans!!
Pros: Delicious Fully-Vegan Food, Excellent Value, Friendly Staff and Atmosphere

Got my order wrong - Edit
Would like to give this a 5, but my order was wrong and I ended up getting the wrong dish. Ordered the Braised Chef Noodles (22), pointed to the item on the menu and confirmed the number with the server.
Read moreThey brought out the Braised Noodles soup - I explained they order was wrong, the younger person apologised but left it on the table. I went back to the server and explained he'd made a mistake, but he assured me that their menu was wrong, that it was actually a soup and it wasnt meant to be under the Stir Fry/Rice section.
Honestly, I'm really disappointed as I've heard good reviews. My partners meal was good, but I'm not a fan of soup, so tried to order a noodle dish.
