Jo's Organic Stores

I love and hate this shop in equal measures. The reason being is that whilst it is marvellous to have an organic shop in Penarth that has a pretty good range of things, I find it increasingly annoying that the owner or staff don't check sell buy dates on their goods. I've yet to go in there and not find a huge number of things out of date.

As a customer I do not feel I should have to automatically check the sell by date on everything I purchase. Many of the things in the shop are very very out of date not jut days. I feel this is a massively important problem that they are not addressing as it has been like this for years.

We felt very lucky when we first moved to Penarth and discovered Jo's Organics. Vegan people can find here almost everything they need: from various food to cleaning materials and personal care products. The store is small and they cannot have everything in stock but the good thing is, you can order from the wide range of brands (they keep catalogues of vegan products) and you can receive it in a few days. The owners are very polite and dedicated to ethical business.

Hidden away on Glebe St is Penarth's little gem: Jo's Organic Stores. It's a veritable "Aladin's Cave" of organic veggie food in this pleasant and historic Victorian seaside town. Owners Neil and Jo have built a loyal fan base around their shop by way of their courteous and friendly service, combined with a genuine passion for organic natural food - sourced as locally as possible. Although they offer organic meat products it's still a real haven for vegans and veggies as the range for a small premises is impressive.

I love shopping at Jo's Organics they are so helpful and friendly. They have a good stock of unusual healthy organic foods and if they dont have what you are looking for they are happy to order it for you. I feel lucky to have this shop so close to home.
