Cheaper alternative to Blue Earth Village - Edit
Right next to Blue Eart Village, way smaller but the same nice View on Mt.Angung, over the bay and the open sea.

Okay spot in Amed - Edit
There was vegan options on the menu card, but none was available. A couple of the other items on the menu card though, could be made vegan and they turned out to be very tasty.

Vegan options limited, no vegan food from the menu available when i was there (but very off-season time). Friendly staff, but not very vegan sensitive. You will have to state your desires.

Read morePrices are really reasonable and the food comes out delicious. Gado-gado sauce was not watery, veg was good and filling, not cheap on the tempe/tofu.
I haven't had the smoothie bowls yet. Sunset would be nice here.
They're also friendly but that is normal Balinese behaviour.

EDIT: I been here lots of times now, have had the gado-gado, curry, the labu siam, veg wrap... I usually avoid Western dishes in local places, but these ladies do it really well--the wrap has lots of bits (chickpeas, nice veg) and tossed in a light dressing. No soggy, pathetic iceberg here!
