Casual vegan restaurant est. 2017 by Le Tricycle owners. Serves burgers, hotdogs, french toast, and a variety of fusion bowls both cold and hot. In the afternoon from 3-7pm the menu is limited to hot dog, cakes, and drinks only. Kitchen stops at 9:30pm. Open Mon-Sat 12:00-15:00, Tue-Sat 19:00-22:00.

This is a pass for us. While we wanted to like it, we found the food pretty disappointing. Rave reviews of the hot dogs led us to believe they were going to be something special. In reality, they tasted like store-bought vegan weiners with store-bought guacamole on store-bought buns. At €5 per dog, they seemed overpriced and a bit dull. The convenience was a plus, but we were hoping for something that was different from what we could just prepare at home. The €6 cauliflower wings were lackluster as well. The sauce was sparse and the wing itself was bland. Jah Jah's other menu items may be better - but I think you can safely skip this spot if you're on the hunt for amazing vegan hot dogs.
Read moreAdditionally, the "family style" table set up really doesn't work well for patrons or staff, as you almost had to climb over one another to get in or out of your seat. Large cartons of produce were stacked in pathways, too. Not a particularly relaxing start to the meal. And, in terms of ambiance - in my personal opinion - the boho-Rastafarian vibe felt really tired to me, similar to little veggie eateries of the 90s. Not a particularly unique or interesting experience.

My mom got takeout from here and it was great. The food was tasty and the packaging was environmentally friendly. We ate in the restaurant for lunch, and had a very different experience. Our server was very rude. We all ordered and she came back later saying what my mom ordered was unavailable. We assumed she would come back, but she never did. My mom was never able to order. We wanted to take away desserts, and she claimed it was not possible. My mom did the other day. I do not know what happened. It’s sad that this very bad service ruined the restaurant for me. I don’t think I’ll be back :(

I came here before an opera as I needed somewhere to eat that was open before 6:30pm. We just got two hot dogs, a smoothie and a piece of cake. We were the only customers sitting inside because it was an odd time. The hot dogs were full of flavour. I don’t normally enjoy smoothies with beetroot but this was delicious. Prompt service.

I liked the atmosphere of the place, with pots of pulses & grains all over! Cosy place, kids welcome, in a popular neighbourhood. They make bowls every day according to the season. I had the hot bowl, which was fresh and tasty!

Tasty exotic food. My favorite side dishes were the plantain banana and the sweet patatoes ! I also took the hot dog from their original restaurant Le Tricycle, and this is one of my favourite hot dog !

We arrived 45min before closing time, were told that the hot bowl was the only meal still available. That's normal and I don't blame them for that.

Service was slow, didn't ask for drinks (or provide water) and, once we finished, just took our plates without a word and without asking whether we would like a dessert. What's more, the bowl was pretty small and average for 13 € and, last but not least, "rich" in white rice (which is surprising because they have whole grain rice on display).
We probably won't go there again.

Theres a really good vibe at that place and a lot of nice details. The staff is really friendly and there are plenty of seats available. I had the hotdog which was good and 2 slices of cake which were good also. Really good but not outstanding for my taste. But i guess the bowls are the better choice, only they were not available when i went there. Pricing in general is good but the cakes were pretty expensive.

J’ai adoré mon experience, nous avons goûté pas mal de choses un dimanche midi,tout était vraiment bon, et joli de surcroît. J’ai moins aimé le hot dog car j’ai trouvé le pain trop gros et friable mais à cinq euros c’est pardonnable. Chaque assiette a le petit détail qui tue en bouche, pour un prix pareil c’est vraiment bien abouti ! Bref une très bonne adresse

I’ve been before when they first opened and the staff were so much nicer and kinder then. I’m back three years later and the two women at front looked at me like I was some sort of demon. There was one waiter who went out of his way to help but another who liked saying no for nothing. The place wasn’t very clean. With the service we had I expected the food to be incredible it was average at best and the worst was the seating. Being pushed between already eating patrons. Asking to be moved to an empty table to be told ‘no!’ was just frustrating. I love their other branch-the tricycle so can continue to support them there but definitely won’t be back at Jah Jah because of the terrible service, average food and poor hygiene.

Our little group of two adults, one teenager and one pre-teen ventured here for lunch. We shared 4 different items and everything was excellent. My daughter loved the vegan hot dog. We also enjoyed the international flair of the restaurant.

Just found this place today to have lunch and i LOVED this place. The food is extremely tasty and fresh, i discovered new flavours and new ingredients. That was unexpected! Moreover the portions are huge, had a hard time to finish my plate but it was so delicious that i couldnt waste a single bite!
