Great to be able to try vegan options of local dishes - Edit
I had the tofu kottu which was really good. We also tried the fried tofu, salad & one of the wraps. Small cafe, nice staff, located near the beach in town.

Unfortunately, we had so good expectations due to the past reviews but it was a big disappointment. The food was cooked with too much oil, very nauseating, and even too cooked. Our potato patties were hard and burned.

Read moreWe had the jackfruit wrap and the Buddha bowl. Both were delicious, wrap was a good enough size and well filled with jackfruit - the bowl was large! It is always good to support the only vegan place in the area, even better when they serve great food!
We'll definitely be back!

We had the buddha bowl and masala. Both amazing! The buddha bowl was super fresh and healthy. If you are looking for a bowl packed with veggies, beans and tofu: go for it! The coconut and coffee icecream was outstanding. Lovely place!

Good value food and popular place. I chose a mushroom burger, unfortunately I had not realised that the burger refereed to the he burger bun, not a burger as it was just mushrooms in a bun my partner had a jackfruit burger which was actually a burger. I wish I had had a Buddha bowl with tofu as I needed the protein!

We went 31/12-24 and the food was amazing! Nothing bad to say about this place.
We had a chickpea salad and Budah Bowl. It was full of flavors and large portions. To finish up NY eve we had a delicious coconut cheese cake.

We were excited to try this place as the only vegan spot in town. Unfortunately the food here was really poor. I got the Buddha bowl but the aubergine tasted and looked awful, like it was days and gone off, the roasted pumpkin was really hard to eat, almost raw, and the tofu tasted really strange. On the plus side, it was a huge portion. The jackfruit burger that my partner had was a bit better. The staff asked us how we liked it, for which we gave some honest feedback. It felt like they then just ignored us and didn’t say anything, a bit strange really! Unfortunately, can’t recommend.

Great vegan restaurant near Hiriketiya Beach. The service is really nice, and despite its small size, the restaurant feels homely. All the food is organic and sourced from local markets. We enjoyed our experience so much that we visited twice and left happy both times. For dinner, we tried the Mushroom Burger and Bahn mi (Grilled Eggplant Patty) Burger, both of which were delicious. For lunch, we opted for the French Toast and the Avocado Tofu Scramble, both of which were mouthwatering. Additionally, it was the only place that had avocado available throughout our vacation, as other restaurants were out of stock.

I liked the atmosphere, the friendly stuff and off course the food was great! Something different than rise and curry. We tried The garden salad, ramen,. mushroom burger and the porridge. Everything was very tasty.

I don’t like giving a low score for fully vegan and small business establishments but this really was not great.
Read moreIt may have been my bad for ordering the bolognese but it’s not exactly the hardest dish to make edible. It was overly sweet, almost like they had put tablespoons of sugar in the sauce, which should not have been the case.
Looking at the comments, their jackfruit based products are great but they were out of jackfruit that day.
