Good food, cool story

I'm not from ABQ so I haven't had much experience with traditional foods like this, and I was quite impressed. I got the tamale plate which was good. The side of beans and quinoa were not really seasoned which was a big miss. They had one salt shaker on the counter and all of the diners were passing it around which made me think all the food is under seasoned.
I also got an almond raspberry cookie that was good.

I do wish they had a better selection of drinks. I'm visiting for work and it's 30 degrees out which I'm not used to. They could easily have an electric kettle and tea bags and sell a cup for $2.50. They did have a lemonade that was in a big tub so I assume it was homemade, but I didn't try that.

Totally worth going to support the business as well!

Indian Taco Deliciousness

First time at Itality and it did not disappoint. I had the Indian taco which was really tasty. I also had 2 tamales which were amazing as well. Great food, great people.

Fantastic!!

Super impressed with this place. Some of the best food we have had in this trip.

I’m from an area where I had Navajo Tacos all the time. What you get here is so tasty! The fry bread was amazing and the homemade Chz was fantastic.

Also had the Enchilada and OG Nacho plate that were both amazing

Can’t wait to get back her and I hope they have a lot of success.

Healthy and traditional, regional Indigenous veganized menu

The menu includes healthy options, with quinoa, black beans, squash as a focus in several dishes, but also includes less healthy items that vegans almost never get to try. We tried:
- the "hand grenade" a tamale-like dish that was both cute and delicious
- the tamale plate, with a side of quinoa and black beans
- the daily stew, which was green chile and lentil - very tasty and an interesting variant to
- The Ital NDN taco, with frybread, smothered in beans, sauce, veggies
We all loved the frybread, soup, and tamale dishes. We might ask for extra sauce in future, as it was really tasty.
Highly recommend!

Pros: Chance to try Indigenous foods, Tasty options!, Outdoor dining tables

Cons: Small indoor dining area
