If you don’t believe it, just smell before entering the restaurant :-D

Delicious Indian Meal! - Edit
I dined here on Sunday, October 8, 2023. We ordered the menu del Dia #4 which was vegetable curry served with rice, naan and a beverage. Apparently this special is only available on weekdays, but the proprietor was so nice that he gave it to us anyway.

I was assured that the curry and masala were vegan but if you eat here, make sure that you ask for the naan to not be buttered. Or forget the naan altogether because it might have milk in it. I forgot to ask about that
The food is prepared to order so you can specify how spicy and hot you want your meal. This is unlike most restaurants where the sauces are made in advance and even if you order your meal at a low heat level, that's not what you're likely to get!
I was happy with the meal and service and would go back here again. English is spoken. Total cost of the meal was 24 Euros and we had way too much food for two people.

Read moreWe had the Chana Masala and Tarka Daal with roti and plain rice. Our server understood what vegan is and confirmed the main dishes we ordered were vegan. He did the roti without butter.
Nice restaurant and friendly server. Great English which was much appreciated considering our limited Portuguese.

They had a page in the menu of vegetarian dishes, but the vegan options were few. The vegan dishes they did have were very good though! I had vegetable samosa and vegetable curry with basmati rice. I would definitely come again if in the area!

Indian food is always a good option for me when there are no vegan restaurants. This restaurant understood that we were vegan and helped us with the menu. They also made some dishes without butter. Their lemon drink was really good too. Friendly staffs, low prices and good portion.
