Solid Indian Spot - Edit
Their menu offers a vast number of dishes with many marked vegan for your convenience. Be careful that the only vegan chutney available is their tamarind option.
Read moreThe Aloo Gobhi was a good mix of cauliflower and potatoes with tomato and spices, and their Dal Tadkha was one of the best yellow lentil dishes I've had! Definitely order this if you are wanting a vegan dish with higher protein and excellent flavor. We had attempted to order their Chaat Papdi appetizer but they said they weren't making it at this time, likely due to its complexity.
The real surprise for us was their vegan Samosa Chaat. Absolutely loved the chickpeas scattered on top of some flaky samosas, all plant based. Combine that with the tamarind chutney and you've got yourself a delicious snack.
Side note - my friend who normally doesn't eat spicy commented that the medium was not spicy enough. So I definitely would kick it up to the hot scale if you're someone that likes a bit of spice.

I love how the vegan items are explicitly listed. I ordered the tofu aloo mattar and the pani puri to go, and everything was excellent. The tofu aloo mattar is very spicy even as mild, but it was so flavourful that I didn’t mind at all. The pani puri was the right amount of crisp and flavour, though it was also spicier than expected. If you love spicy food, this is the place for you! 🌶

I would have given this 5 stars if Happy Cow let me. It’s so good. I’m vegan and loved it, my partner is not and it has great options for him too. The online menu doesn’t indicate what is vegan or what can be made vegan but their paper Togo menus are well marked. They even have vegan naan!
