Lentil stew was one of the best I have had. They had about 5 vegan mains, and vegan chapati.

Had a lovely meal outdoors. Vegan options clearly labelled. Six vegans in our group and we all had something different. Monte Velho wine is vegan. Just lovely

Very good food - Edit
Great and well described vegan options. We ordered aloo ghobi and dal tarka (name from menu). It was all very tasty. Waiter was very nice and informative, he made sure more then once if all is good. A definite recommendation.

Super! - Edit
Delicious Indian dishes with plenty of choice for vegetarians. We had dinner at the restaurant in the evening, the location is in a cozy little street. The service is friendly and the dishes are not expensive.

Great Indian vegan options - Edit
After reading reviews on HappyCow, decided to give this place a go for dinner on Saturday night - it definitely didn’t disappoint. Multiple vegan options which are clearly labelled on the menu, I went for the Chana masala and basmati rice. Very good portion size, couldn’t finish it all! Quick service too

Good Indian food - Edit
They have a clearly marked menu. Tasty food, mildly spiced which can be made hotter on request. Restaurant is situated on an alley, with number of other restaurants. Has both indoor and outdoor seating. Would eat here again

The restaurant is located in a small alley. The food is not labeled as vegan but all except two vegetarian dishes are vegan (the one with cheese and the one with butter cream). Naan is not vegan but roti bread. Rice is not included but has to be ordered extra.

A few vegan options - Edit
The menu stated it was vegetarian so had to ask if they had vegan options. I think it depends whether they use oil or butter ghee. One of the few places that was open on public holiday so appreciated finding somewhere that catered.

Traditional and friendly - Edit
It's nice to find a place where they actually understand what vegan means. Vegan options from the menu were pretty much the same as every other Indian restaurant, I am not a huge fan of the Indian spectre of tastes, so I cannot reliably review the quality of cooking, here, but the food was nicely put, and seemed well prepared to me!
Read moreThey say that their Naan bread is also vegan, which is especially nice, as this is often not the case!
No dessert options for vegans, unfortunately.
Pros: Super friendly service, in English, Nice and beautifully laid tables
Cons: A bit pricey, No dessert, Christmas songs playing loudly
