Branch of Indian food chain

This is a branch of a chain that offers Indian food for takeout, counter-served, with a few places for sitting (but no available restroom). It is not a typical Indian restaurant by any means: they offer many fewer items than a typical Indian restaurant , though among these are some vegan dishes.

I had the vegan “lamb” dish (without the sauce, which is not vegan). I have no idea what actual lamb tastes like, but this vegan dish was pretty good and filling.

Note: this is not actually in or next to Bryant Park, but down the block from it.

Delicious vegan mango lassi and the chickpea curry was tasty
