Can’t believe it’s taken me so long to try this place. Their vegan meatball sub had a label next to it that reads “PETA named it best vega sub in the US!” I scoffed at the comment then quickly took it back once I took a bite into. Try the meatball sub on French bread !! 😍

Reading Rainbow is the BEST - Edit
The Reading Rainbow is DIVINE. Some locations have taken it off the menu but they’ll still make it on request.
Read moreIt’s avocado, pesto, cheese, lettuce, dirty sauce. Get it on Dutch Crunch. Very high in calories so not something I’d eat everyday buts it’s totally worth it as a treat.

Didn't know what vegan means - Edit
I never had good experiences here. They didn't consistently know what vegan means. If you ask if certain cheeses are vegan, they'll say yes for ones that contain milk. They also put sauces that contain egg on sandwiches that they tell you are fully vegan. Unfortunately, it seems like it depends on who's working that day, to be sure that you're ordering vegan food

They have a whole vegetarian sandwich menu, many of which have a symbol showing that they can be made vegan. To my surprise and delight, this means that they have vegan options of EVERY component of these sandwiches, meaning that they have vegan mayo, slaw, cheese, etc. The servers are quite friendly and knowledgeable about what is and isn’t plant-based on their menu. Super fast as well.

I always get the Pilgrim (turkey cranberry, vegan havarti and lettuce) vegan style. It’s great. Pretty pricey for a fast casual in my opinion, but good location.

Nevermind Butcher's Son and its 45 minute queue - Edit
Was short on time and decided to finally check this out. Wasn't expecting to be impressed like I was by Butcher's Son but was really pleased with what I had - the Pilgrim which has vegan turkey and cranberry. The menu marks which vegetarian ones can be made vegan and you can also ask about other options. Totally recommend for the time-strapped vegan!

Delish sandwiches and friendly staff - Edit
Ike’s sandwiches are delicious and a variety can be made vegan. The staff is also conscious of food allergies and will bring out the allergen list to make sure you have a great dining experience. Pricing is moderate. I like that they have electric plugs so you charge your phone will you wait and a large amount of inside seating.
