For those of us vegans who are more healthy conscious than others, this place is a dream! I can’t stand vegan icecream that is too sweet, but because this is sweetened with dates it’s not too sweet. Some people don’t like the flavor, but if you want 100% all natural ingredients then this is by far the best place I’ve ever been to. The Peanut and the Choco banana are my favs

The girl that was working was really sweet! She let me try a lot of flavors which was so nice! I ended up going for the vanilla flavor. Love how it tasted, not to sweet but it was very nice and creamy

I’m perplexed how many people give iceDate a good review. People, this is not ice cream: it’s song gritty mush with barely any taste or sweetness. Like eating sand. There are such amazing kinds of vegan ice cream nowadays, like the one from Eisbrunnen. Or simply the vegan sorbets from Bartu. I don’t understand the ‘healthy’ concept. If I want healthy ice cream, I can make myself some nice cream with frozen banana or go for some cold fruit salad. If I want ice cream, it better be good. Why waste my money on this tasteless stuff. iceDate gives vegan food a bad name…

The taste is really different from any other ice cream I've tried, you can taste the cashew base and they feel quite thick. It was quite tasty, but not my favourite and I didn't find them that refreshing. I am still happy to have found ice cream with such healthy ingredients and I will be back.

Best vegan ice cream - Edit
Delicious ice cream based on nuts like cashews and almonds. Dates act as the only sweetener which makes it healthier (compared to refined sugar) and at the same time not overly sweet. Every flavor I’ve tried yet was absolutely yummy. They also offer pints if you want to take your favorite flavor home.

I already knew the concept of Ice date from the store in Maxvorstadt. I wanted to give it another try, since I wasn’t really impressed the first time.

On the one side, I didn't enjoy this ice cream at all, it simply didn't taste any good. Moreover it's etremely overprized (2,20€ each). But on the other side, it's a completely vegan store with healthy ingredients.
