I don’t like to leave negative reviews but this place was not what I expected at all. The waiter messed up our orders, handing me a non GF bowl that was meant for someone else after I was already given my bowl - poor communication between staff. The taste was basically just salt, didn’t taste like any ramen broth I’ve ever had before. Didn’t even taste like miso. I ordered the GF bowl and on the menu it said “GF option - tofu” so I assumed if you ordered the GF option it would come with the tofu instead of soy strips but I was wrong - make sure you mention this clearly if you are GF. Luckily I’m not too aggravated by gluten and I’m on holiday so I just ate it instead of complaining. Someone compared this place to T’s Tan Tan in Tokyo which I would not do at all. T’s is imo one of if not the best vegan ramen place in the world - this stuff tastes like 2 minute noodles in comparison. Doesn’t seem very genuine or like they’ve done any ramen training, unfortunately just trying to dive into a trendy thing.

Not sure if this is a Brisbane thing, but - like Greenhouse - this venue appears as a swanky bar with attached restaurant with nothing to giveaway its vegan status. Lovely vibe and food looks amazing, however I found the ramen ($16) to be quite bland: tasted a little like two-minute noodles covered in a salty broth with a few veggies. But this could have something to do with my tastebuds being ‘spoiled’ by Thai, Vietnamese and Malaysian soups: perhaps Japanese nosh ain’t my thing.

This is tied for me as the best vegan ramen (the other top place is Ts Tan Tan Ramen in Tokyo station). I've had almost every ramen and many other things on the menu and not yet been disappointed. Favourites include the cauliflower and onion ramen, duck bao and chicken karage. We will keep going back again and again.

Great ramen great gf options and cool place. Just wish the portions were bigger and there was more variety on the starters as there's only one which Is gluten free and thays potatoes!? Have eaten here a few times and we have then still been hungry after eating.

Wow, so glad I made the effort to visit this place whilst working in Brisbane. A delicious ramen-focused menu (many different types of vegan ramen bowls) with plenty of smaller dishes offering additional choice (I loved the 'duck' bao). A lively vibe and well patronised even on a mid-week evening. Beers on tap. I wanna go back for more!

Best ramen in Brisbane. - Edit
I've tried at least 4 different ramen places in Brisbane, and these guys do the best! The kimchi ramen is my favourite, but I've also had the chicken and mushroom together (fake chicken strips are weirdly realistic but delicious).
