Very good - Edit
Japanese-Taiwanese fusion full of flavors, service was great, the place is beautiful, mostly (if not all) vegan, price is really correct especially for the quality of the food (about 150TWD for a main + side + soup, or 350TWD for appetizers + main + sides + soup + dessert + drink).

Large portions! - Edit
Expensive by taiwan standards, but the meal was very large and filling.
Read moreI ordered the curry with rice set meal, and even though I had had a full day of physical activity I still had to take some home.
The food was tasty, and the restaurant was pleasant, though possibly part of some strange church (my favorite kind of vegan restaurant).
Would recommend! Especially if you're not price conscious.

Fine Taiwanese style Vegan dishes - Edit
Gyoza (Jiaozi) are super well-made and delicious! I’d call it the must order if you visit. They offer two flavour, cabbage and fennel. however it’s slightly expensive comparing to the market Chinese dumpling price. the vegan mince pork rice is good, too. The moist, meaty flavour vegan minced port fry over the rice is nice, but I expected more veggies to go with it.

Cozy and mega yummy place run by locals - Edit
The place is super clean and well decorated. Food is absolutely amazing! Glad this is the first meal I have in 2021. The staffs are very friendly, makes you feel like you are having a proper meal at a local friends place. The meals are Buddhist vegetarian, meaning there is no meat, no seafood, no milk, no egg, no spices.
Read morePros: All dishes are Buddhist vegetarian, Staffs are very friendly, Run by local aboriginals
Cons: Slightly pricier than other local restaurants

Vegan in Taitung - Edit
Amazing staff, nice atmosphere, very good food. They're actually fully vegan, not vegetarian as shown here. Try the potstickers with their fresh sauces, and the fruit smoothie.

Best vegan food we had in Taiwan! - Edit
We totally loved this place! Ate here twice on our way to and from Lanyu island. Their lunch menu consists of various fresh dishes next to your main choice. We especially liked their dan dan rice and the special mushroom salade they make. Restaurant is very atmospheric and has a relaxing zen-like interior. Staff is very friendly and does the best they can helping you in English. Menu also available in English. Very much recommended!

great dinner - Edit
The place is a nice calm restaurant for dinning. I ordered the full menu and was great. I only did not like the desert with red sweet beens as I do not enjoy the beens in general. There is no alcohol on menu, as usual on Taiwan. The food I had did all look vegan, but I was not asking in particular, it was vegetarian for sure

Cons: far from the centre, desert

Simple but good - Edit
This place is really simple but nice. The restaurant is cozy, the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly. We tried the rice with vegan minced pork, rice with curry, the vegan potstickers with cabbage and rosemary fillings, and the "special noodles" which was noodles with sesame sauce and vinegar. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Maybe it's not the cheapest (comparing the taiwanese food prices) but it's definitely worth it. They take good care of the food and it's really good. Plus, the place is really quiet and nice.

Great Meal, Nice Restaurant, Not Expensive - Edit
This is a very good, Japanese influenced rice and noodle restaurant. Busy on weekend evenings. They have a counter for seating as well. Wouldn't call it "expensive", as a main and two appetizers plus desert was 310 NTD (about $10 USD).
Read moreThey have an English Menu!
There is a set menu (for 300 NTD) as of May 2016 plus a la carte. I got a delicious bowl of house noodles which comes with a bowl of soup,, a plate of super fresh greens (they were called "seasonal vegetables"), plus the tofu with seaweed on top (cold and yummy).
The potstickers are really great and are served in a super cool way, all connected together as they had been fried in the pan. I had a few that my friend ordered.
I've been here twice in the past few days—really stands out from the standard noodle shop fare.
Only drawback is that I would end up getting the same thing nearly every time. The menu is not extensive, and I don't eat mushrooms. :-) The Curry Rice and the House Noodles are mushroom free.

One of the nicest meals we had in Taiwan - Edit
We had dinner here twice. Between the two visits we tried all of the main dishes on the set menu and liked them all - dan dan rice, curry rice, sesa,e mppd;es. curry noodles, house ramen and potstickers. The appetizers were varied, and included tofu with seaweed, more seaweed and unusual vegetables. Dessert was a nice azuki beans with sticky rice. The setting was tranquil This was one of the nicest and best dinners we had on our trip.
