Tremendous Vegan Dining Experience - Edit
On vacation in Myrtle beach and my family was looking for vegan options and found this wonderful place! HOT STACKS CAFE has other food, but we were impressed with the many creative vegan options available! I had the "Shamrock sandwich" and it was a real treat.. Fast and knowledgeable service made this a fantastic experience.. As a matter of fact we will probably hit them up a couple more times before we leave! One warning: This is HOT STACKS CAFE.. NOT.. HOT STACKS PANCAKE HOUSE! Only the CAFE is vegan!
Read morePros: Fast service and many vegan options
Cons: That they don't have more of these restaurants!

Closing Dec 22, 2025 and re-opening in 2026 as The Bossy Hen Mimosa House - Edit
ONLY the Hot Stacks Cafe at THIS address has the wide vegan menu options.
Read moreTraditional pancake house options with vegan items clearly marked on the menu. Pancakes were ok but would not recommend them if trying to get an omni to see the benefits of vegan food.
I had the tofu burrito. It was good and filling and fruit was fresh but the sausage was so mild I did not taste it. Husband had the vegan chicken club and really enjoyed it. They have specials apparently, too, vegan ones. Other than Bombay on the Beach, the only actively vegan restaurant we have found in town.

Pros: Vegan breakfast and lunch options at same meal, "Traditional" American food in vegan versions, Prices in line with non-vegan meals
Cons: Pancakes & burrito ok but not OUTSTANDING

Nice to have a plant based option - Edit
This is a breakfast and brunch place. They have half a page of plant based options available. The food was pretty good. The service was great.
Read moreI had the Chick'n & waffles, which I thought was really good. I did ask for an additional little cup of maple syrup (additional$1.50) because I didn't think it came with enough.
My husband has the Vegan French Toast. He said it was just OK, and that it looked better than it tasted Good, but nothing special.
PS. I forgot to take pictures until after we had started eating

Can’t go wrong - Edit
Hey seriously love this place! I have gotten their American breakfast, their vegan French toast, their vegan Rancho omelette, no matter what I have tried I have enjoyed it. Also really loved their iced macchiato’s. They have almond milk and soy milk for people who don’t do dairy. I had mine with soy milk and it was quite delicious. I have also tried the farm bowl which I enjoyed very much as well. I can honestly say there’s nothing I’ve tried that I did not like. Their vegan options are extensive and the staff is quite helpful. They do tofu scramble and just egg options. Can’t say enough good things about them! Great place

We got the breakfast sushi, French toast, and waffles. Everything was so amazing! The French toast was the favorite, along with the sausage patty(I think it's made in house? It was delicious!!!). The potato's were also super yummy. Can't go wrong with anything here.

Our Fav Myrtle Beach spot! - Edit
A good variety of vegan options at this specific Hot Stacks location! The food is super fresh, well-crafted, and plated beautifully. Order come in a very timely manner and hot. The home fries are outstanding. My favorite dish is the avocado toast and my husband loves the Just Ranchero. We appreciate that the vegan options are far from boring. There’s no other place in the Myrtle Beach area that we enjoy dining out at more than here at Hot Stacks. #Veganuary

Hot Stacks has been my go to for years now while visiting North Myrtle Beach. There are a variety of options and they are all equally delicious. They even have specials sometimes like the banana French toast that I would love to see again . I also look forward to new items in the future because these options are perfection! Thank you!

Vacationing While Vegan!! - Edit
Normally, I eat a clean, whole, minimally processed plant food but on vacation I splurge a bit with vegan “junk food”. This place was GREAT! The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable and so friendly! I ate the Tofu Burrito AND the vegan French Toast….both delicious!! Definitely recommend if you’re in Myrtle Beach☀️

Awesome Vegan Options!!! So many choices and all delicious! - Edit
We used to eat at this restaurant before switching to a vegan diet and when I saw they had multiple vegan options I was super excited!!! I have had their tofu scramble with onions and peppers in place of an egg in a standard breakfast with sides like fresh fruit and Dave’s Killer White Bread. I also enjoyed the Just Ranchero Meal which is a Vegan omelet made with Just egg and black beans, topped with avocado and spicy aioli & sesame seeds. Served with chipotle grits and killer toast. Or if you prefer you can substitute one of the sides with another. My husband got the vegan French toast and loved it. A friend had the vegan chicken and waffles and it was delicious also. Can’t express how glad I am to have Hot Stacks as an option. Prices are not cheap but you get quality food and a good quantity also. My husband and I shared the Just Ranchero the second day because it was very big.
