I did not see anything marked vegan on the menu. Happycow mentions vegan muffins, but they were only labeled as gluten-free, so I asked. The staff confirmed they were all vegan, so I bought an "Almond Joy." It wasn't bad, but I didn't really like the flavor.

First off I’m elated that normal businesses are starting to offer plant-based choices outside of major cities. But based on the previous review (5 stars) we had higher expectations for this cute little cafe. It is a normal cafe that offers a few vegan muffins as well as the obligatory black bean burger. The staff was friendly and offered to take meat and cheese off salads but I can do that at any restaurant. Also, why does everyone think vegans only eat salad? 🤷♀️
Read moreThe muffins are also gluten free for those with sensitivities and come from the local Laughing Dog Bakery. They were moist and fresh unlike most GF baked goods and hit the spot if you are looking for a baked tasty treat.
I would give a higher star rating if they offered a couple of proper vegan meals and clearly labeled their menu with what is vegetarian and vegan.

Very cozy environment with a knowledgeable and friendly staff who were able to substitute various items on the menu to be vegan. I ordered a lemon poppyseed muffin and an almond milk hot chocolate and both were quite delicious!
