Kind and tasty.

Loud but pleasant atmosphere. Not all food were direct hits, but mostly very tasty.

Pleasant staff also. I sent a burger back because it was burned. Got a new one fast no problem.

Opvallend goed

Deze kroeg/eetcafé serveert heerlijke gerechtjes. Volledig plantaardig zonder dat daar speciaal aandacht voor hoefde te zijn. Gewoon. Zoals het kan en moet.

Hit or miss

The food is kinda a hit-or-miss: their curry is really nice and tasty, but the beer-battered tofu was a bit disappointing. The taste was good, but I only got three pieces and a bit of fries, which didn't make it a fulfilling meal.

poor meal

I was very disappointed with the choice of meals and with the quality. I had deep fried tofu with chips and it was dire. It was cooked well but the presentation of chips and mayonnaise (frites met) with the addition of 3 portions of deep fried tofu was not only boring, it was not very nutritious and certainly not interesting. The choice was bloody burgers again - I don't want to eat a vegan burger!
The service and conversation of my waiter was excellent but the food was dire, sorry.

Great food & atmosphere

We were very exciting to try their new, fully plantbased menu - we were not disappointed. Sadly I was too full to try the dessert, but the croquettes and tempeh burger were really good. My company enjoyed the pasta as well. We stayed there the whole evening for drinks (it’s also a bar!) Very friendly staff and an international atmosphere.
Ps. Menu changes regularly.

Loved it!

Met mijn carnivoor man daar gegeten. We vonden het allebei super lekker. Goede smaak, prettige sfeer. Kleine kaart (3 voor, 5 hoofd en 2 nagerechten) maar alles leek me lekker dus het kiezen was nog niet makkelijk. Het menu gaat nu veranderen dus we moeten snel weer een keer terug!

Went there with my carnivore husband. We both loved it. Great flavor, lovely atmosphere. Small menu (3 starters, 5 main and 2 deserts) Menu is about to change so we will be back for sure!

Delicious!

Very tasty food. Recently turned vegan, although they still have some non-vegan things on the menu (drinks like chocolate milk and rivella and honey with the fresh mint tea).
I had the lentil dal, very nice. My date had the beer battered tofu which was like fish and chips and it was so good! The mushrooms were also very tasty as a starter, although it was quite a small dish.
Unfortunately they don't have decaf. When the chef is there, he bakes vegan cookies to serve with the coffee/tea.
Very friendly staff, would definitely go there again to try the rest of the menu.

Delicious food, friendly staff!

A cozy bar/restaurant in the city centre, staff was VERY friendly and caring! Sweet outdoor seating area in the pedestrian zone.
We had the bean burger some side dishes and left completely full and happy! Highly recommend!

Pros: Dishes are all vegan, No car traffic

Loved loved loved the appetizers!

We had a really nice evening at the Hoogste Tijd! Pro tip: make sure you get to taste all the appetizers! They are super delicious!!

Pros: Food was very good en I liked the vibe.

Jippie! Een extra vegan joint in town!
Ze zijn nog in “transitie” en daardoor staan er nog wel wat producten op de kaart bij die niet fully vegan zijn (wijn, chocomelk, koekjes bij de koffie) personeel geeft dit netjes aan. Dahl erg smaakvol.

Cafe sfeervol met goede groeipotentie

Pros: Voldoende keuzemogelijkheid, In de binnenstad, Enorm vriendelijke personeel

Cons: Ventilatoren aan plafond vervelend in nek

Fun place with good food

Owner is Irish and super friendly/social! The place recently turned 100% vegan. Good vibe, fun place and good food. The brownie is TO DIE FOR, sooo good!! 😻
